Prospects, you were successful in uncovering the guilty party. Nokolai Gogol, the Apprentice Avuab, is responsible for the murder of Tess Rubikov, and therefore he will be facing the consequences of his actions.

EXECUTION

[and then, he presses a button on the tablet, and whatever ground was beneath Gogol suddenly opens up. So, clearly, even Jim was not taking the hands on approach that he had taken last week. He flips through options, unsatisfied for a few seconds.]
No, no, no… aha. This one. [and he presses another button, this time causing the projector to file to life. Gogol, from wherever he fell, crash lands onto a soft platform, and it becomes apparent something is wrong. He is in a straight jacket, locks locking everything in place. Beneath him, the platform immediately starts to shift, sinking into what looks like… quicksand? Below it.
Gogol doesn’t immediately notice that, honestly. He’s too delighted by the additional challenge, that he begins working on as soon as he senses about him.
One, two… three… He makes dutiful work, unfastening what looks like it shouldn’t be able to be unfastened as his platform sinks below him. It’s only once he completely frees himself that he realizes the trick of what’s happened: forcing him to work and move so much, only to cause him to sink faster. The sand is up to his chest, and seems to take his victory as a sign.
He pauses, and seems to give a thoughtful, “Hm.” to his situation. And then, he starts laughing. Maniacally. Just constantly, until the sand swallows him, leaving no sign of where he once was.
Nikolai Gogol is dead.]

[ But then he gets an unreadable expression on his face, looking at Jim, before swiftly leaving. ]
