The Great Escape

[With Vivienne's insistence, they all escape into the gymnasium through the hole in the wall. They don't have much time to regroup, but she's doing a quick head count before anything else happens. And then--]

Orga push it now.

[Maybe it's the tense quality to her voice, but even though James must be tied up right now she sounds anxious.

[He just looks over at Vivienne and nods, pulling a phone out of the duffel bag. If it looks familiar, it's because it's Han's, and Orga quickly navigates the touchscreen to reach a button.

And he taps.]

[Rantaro's staring at Orga, but since he's on their side he can forgive the previous theft.]

[Oooh yeah, he knows what this looks like.]

[After the button is tapped a small ding comes from the phone-- along with a counter.

Ten minutes.

With everything that's going on, that's not a lot of time. On top of that, Vivienne appears to be calling someone.]

Prier! Violet! Did you get everything?

[A tiny girl and her much older accomplice are on the screen.]

Yeah, yeah, we went through everyone's rooms. We dropped the bags out the window in the back. You can get them on your way out. Lucian and Sola are already on their way there now with the stuff from your room and office. We're going to--

[Suddenly, the screen fizzles for a second and then comes back on.]

What the he-- [The taller girl looks back out the window of what appears to be the robotics laboratory and suddenly starts yelling.]

Get the fuck out of here now!!

[It's hard to see what happens. There's a crashing noise and a bright explosion of light just a second before the screen goes completely dead. Her face goes pale and her hands shake--

Well it's not just her. The whole building shakes in the wake of what sounds like an incredible explosion. She wants to scream, cry-- but. She made a promise. She has to get everyone out. And they don't have much time.]

Come on, we're leaving. Now!

Okay!

[THIS IS FINE. He jumps at the explosion, but turns to Vivi regardless.]

Lead the way!

[Oh god...

Rantaro only has two hands. One's holding a notebook and the other's dragging Osomatsu around. He doesn't have enough time to check on Monika, Poe, Tsukasa, or... Really anyone else.

He's forced to drag him along to safety. Please... Let everyone be safe...]

The van is out back! We're going to pick up your personal belongings on the way. Hopefully we'll run into the others too--

[But she doesn't sound entirely hopeful. But she shakes it off and pushes forward.

...it won't be simple though. The outside exit from the gym has caved in.]

...dammit. We'll have to find another way.

[The building continues to shake. The longer they're in there the worse it's gonna be.]

We're going to take the emergency exit behind the stairs, to the back of the building!

[He'll follow Vivi wherever she goes. He trusts her.]

[ He's definitely going to follow Vivienne wherever she leads them. They have to get out of here, and fast. ]

[She's taking up the rear right now, making sure everyone gets out of the gymnasium in one piece.]

Don't go too far ahead! Wait for me in the hall! But if anything looks like it's about to collapse, then move!

If you don't want to collapse along with this building we've got to run!

[Oh god is he in front now!??! He'll... keep going that way now and avoid any area that even remotely looks like it'll collapse. He'll wait in the hall as told.]

Prier and Violet got all your things out. Can you help get the bags when we get outside? Akira took care of putting everything else in the van earlier.

He'll let go and motion Osomatsu to keep the heck up!]

Ah. But he might recognize it as a familiar friend. Vivienne yells from the Gymnasium.]

There you are! Gods, you scared Akira and I both disappearing like that Karl!

[Guess he's following Poe now...

And keeping an eye out for alternate escape routes should the emergency exit be unavailable.]

[On the contrary. It looks like the emergency exit is your best bet right now. There are sounds of collapses coming from the courtyard now.]

[Karl is being moved to his rightful place on Poe's shoulders now!]
