Prospects, you were successful in uncovering the guilty party. Viral, Apprentice Survivor, is responsible for the murder of Henry, and therefore he will be facing the consequences of his actions.

It's getting hot in here...

[the lights, as before, go out with a flash, leaving nothing but darkness and not a sound. The projector is a little slow to whirr to life this time, taking a moment to warm up, the image growing brighter as it turns on.

As with Grantaire, Viral is nowhere to be seen in the dim light. Indeed, there is one less head… Hell, even Grantaire’s head seems to be gone. But when the image comes clear, it’s obvious that Viral, and Grantaire’s head, have made their way to a metal arena, with the walls towering over them..

There are metal bands on Viral’s wrists and ankles, and it becomes obvious that they are weighing him down significantly. He staggers forward as the robots appear on the ledges of the wall, and them… pauses. He takes a moment to kick the jar containing Grantaire’s head, and it rolls to the edge of the arena. But as before, the robots don’t respond. It’s like they’re frozen, and as the seconds tick by, Viral wastes no time, running forward, and using his claws to give him leverage on the wall, despite the metal bands pulling him down (magnets, if you will).

The robots don’t respond, and he begins climbing, only occasionally slipping down the wall as the magnets pull him back. Han is furiously typing on his computer, and then shuts it down with a finality, looking up at the projected image.

Viral gets up halfway. Slips. Recovers, then two thirds—just a little bit left. As he starts to reach his hand up to grab the ledge and find freedom, something snaps to life with a screech, and he loses his balance. He falls to the floor, and struggles against the magnets, but no matter how much he fights, he can’t seem to get the leverage he needs to get up again.

Meanwhile, the robots start from the outside, blue flames extending from their hands, as they drag down the wall, moving closer to Viral. The jar containing Grantaire’s head breaks, and then his head catches on fire, just as Viral’s clothing is burning around him. The smoke coming off of him is intense, and he looks like he is yelling something, but it’s overwhelmed by the sound of the flames.

The flames finally reach him and engulf the image.

When it’s done, there’s only ash and parts of bones left.

Viral is dead.]

[He covers his head with his cloak as he makes his leave, overcome with grief.]

[ Why she's looking now when she hadn't last week, Rebecca doesn't know. Maybe there's a part of her that, against all odds, hopes he'll escape, or--

Or something else will happen, miraculously.

But really, that kind of optimistic demeanor doesn't fit her. It's forced. ]

[ But all her protests die on her lips, and...

...And she's left feeling strangely hollow. ]

[ Osomatsu kneels to the floor, looking away, pulling his hood over his head before shutting his eyes tightly and covering his ears in a vain attempt to drown out the image. ]

[ But it doesn't work. He can still hear everything. He can still hear Viral die. ]

[ And after there's only ash and bone left, Oso trembles on the spot. ]

[ This was the hardest thing to watch and honestly even though he's seen a lot of punishments and deaths here, this was...really traumatizing. Maybe he looked away at some point.

It's horrid and it wasn't right for it to go as long as it did. ]

[Poe just.... puts an hand on her shoulder. He's.... so sorry for your loss.]

[ She stiff and tries to shrug it off, though there's not much force. She hides her face. ]

[ And she rushes out of the classroom, without another word. ]

[ OH GOOD IT'S FIRE........... which is enough for Shirou to just immediately shut down, his legs trembling as his voice quivers. It's difficult for him to speak, his voice cracking as he shakes his head, knowing all too well that it's setting him off.

Because it's fire, after all.

And there's only a few words that he can say, the terror in his eyes. ]

[ He can't even run.

His feet are just rooted on the ground, unable to move. ]

[Like last week, is expression is stoic as he watches the execution. Still, as Viral starts to struggle, his shoulders tense up and he clenches his fists. While he doesn't take his eyes off the whole thing, when the flames die out at the end, Orga abruptly turns and walks out of the room, not looking back.]

[ Hey, someone's next to you, podium wise so. Akira leans over, looking kinda serious. ]

[ Shirou's words come off rather hollowly and there's something empty about his expression, as if something broke in him. Or was it already broken in the first place? ]

[ ... He leans over, reaches out gently like he's going to cradle Shirou's face... and...

... smacks his hands on Shirou's cheeks. ]

[ That definitely brought him back, but at what cost? ]

[ He can have his sad, stoic breakdown away from what's left of Viral, yeah? Akira hops down from the podium, but circles around and leans up to grab Shirou's wrist, lightly. ]

Come on. Let's go.

[ He doesn't say anything more, instead just simply nodding as he makes the attempt to move his legs, allowing Akira to lead him out. ]

Hey... [Maya's here, trying to move herself between Oso and the gruesome sight.]

[ He shakily stands up, his hood hiding his eyes. ]
