But more than that, it feels like something is waiting to snap this week. What could possibly go wrong, after last week?

[Oh my god that's the intercom. And that energetic voice can only belong to one person.]

One hour. Out front. It's time for your school-wide physical examinations. Everyone needs to be here, got it! Good!

[And she'll be waiting. And if you don't show-- god help you.]

[ Akira's a little subdued after everything that happened yesterday - and what he wakes up from today. Losing someone in the here and now is one thing, but remembering losing someone in your memories as well just feels like pouring salt in his wounds.

He does the cursory look around for new places, and 'lo and behold there's now just, casually, an entire arcade above their heads, and another floor of the school opened up. After looking around the new floor in the school, he settles himself in the chem lab and appears to be making something - or trying to, at least. Whatever he's doing doesn't seem to be going great, and he seems to be getting a little annoyed with the whole process.

Then, after lunch - which is weird in and of itself, they're usually pretty fancy and detailed with their food options at the cafeteria - he can be found roaming the corridors like some kind of restless animal. He spends a lot of time exploring the new floor for anything that might stick out as weird, before giving the other floors the same treatment. He's tired of just sitting around and waiting for things to happen. ]

Portrayed by Akira just hanging out around the doorways and not moving closer to where the good doctor is. Nope he's fine thanks. ]

[Oh no you don't. Some talon'd beast-- no that's just Dr. Bae's hands catching you by the shoulders. But you may as well prepare for the worst.]

I don't even know what I'm responding to. You're not going to tell me you're an exotic prince with ten million dollars to deposit in my bank account, are you?

[ That... definitely was a wake up call. Remembering yet another death, and one sacrificial, amongst other things wasn't exactly the greatest things that he could possibly wake up from.

"I want to help you."

"I wish to free you from your suffering."

Damn it. It's times like this that he wishes he didn't remember who he was. That even though there was something that he so desperately wanted, he knew that he just couldn't have it.

That it was impossible to save him.

He should have known that from the start. But... he's alive, here and now. He still exists. He wants to have a chance, even outside of the loop of those four days. Even if he's killed over and over again, he wants to get back up. This isn't like before.

This isn't his world.

Maybe... his past self was wrong this whole time. Perhaps a miracle could happen. But goddamn, did it hurt to be killed by that fucker.

He finds himself punching the wall, only finding himself hurt in the process, like a dumbass. Yeah, he's been suffering all this time. But he hasn't cried, not once. He hasn't let himself to. How upset he's been is something he's been hiding this whole time.

Even if he seems sad after the trials, that just ain't him. That's not the real reason why he's suffering.

But it's because of that he finds his determination rekindled, heading out of his room and making the decision to scope things out-- he'll specifically be looking in the astronomy studies to see if he can compare the star charts to what they see outside to determine a better "where the fuck are they" location, especially given that the locations of the stars differ depending on the place, the library, and the workshop in particular.

After all that re-exploration is done, he decides to go back to the simulation room to try out... something. What he recreates in there isn't a place, but instead, a person. I wonder who this is! ]

Meanwhile, in the Robotics Laboratory...

[It would seem that Vivienne is hard at work doing... something! It might be a strange sight to walk in on-- after all she's creating a new body. Everything that will ultimately make it look human like the one she's in now.

As things are added though, some of you may recognize the fact that it's meant to look not like an alias but-- the real Vivienne Gallivan. Those of you who've only met "Megumi" will probably be surprised by the red hair. She's working diligently.

[ That's actually pretty normal, which he's. Pretty surprised about, hence why he finds himself pausing. ]

I'd assume it's the usual, but I guess I should have you tell me what I gotta do so that this's quick.

[ But ugh. He is being defeated, and forced into a chair. Yikes, lady. Although now he's here, he doesn't look all that impressed. ]

Oh, is that all? It's only taken you all, oh, what? Four months? To think about checking if we're in "good mental condition". You're a doctor, take a wild guess how most of us are feeling right now.
