[Week six comes like an ominous wave. If anything, the wall is more threatening that it's ever been. That sign from last week? Looks aged-- like it's far more than just a week old. But more than that, it feels like something is waiting to snap this week. What could possibly go wrong, after last week?

Said no one ever, at this point.

But still, if you look around this week, you might find out something. It's like someone has started leaving clues in places old and new. Take a look around.]

post-motive; simulation room - velvet room or leblanc edition

[ After the motive, Akira ends up wandering to the simulation room. Something about this seemingly "benign" motives - the ones that promise things rather than give them immediate ultimatums - they make him the most nervous.

Because they tend to throw people off, or make people dismiss them and... well. None of the outcomes of any motive have been good, but both of these kinds of motives had been painful. The first kill, and ... well... everything that happened last week.

So, he finds himself wandering up to the simulation room for something like some peace and quiet. Entering the room at different times; early afternoon or late afternoon will show one of two scenes - a small, but cosy looking cafe in the earlier part of the afternoon, with warm beams of sunlight and a strong aroma of freshly brewed coffee seeping intothe air and the fixtures around it, and an eerie, blue tinted room that looks almost worryingly like a prison in the late afternoon. Oddly, only one of the cells has any real definition to it.

Akira looks oddly at home in either setting. ]

[ He's still examining the shadowy figure, before he turns around to look at Tsukasa again. ]

... if there's something there, then it can't be nothing.

[Max is briefly around for the motive, but quickly disappears. She's had a day and a half, that's for sure. She spends the afternoon in the Music Room, playing an acoustic guitar of the not-maya-smashing variety. She plays versions of a few 00's hits if you're into that sort of thing, otherwise she'll mostly be improvising. She looks kind of sad, distracted––only half concentrating on the guitar.

For the evening, she's in the Arcade, moving through the aisles of games and trying them out. They're fun, but they also remind her a lot of Yoosung and even Mishima. They would've liked this place. Shame they had to hide it away up here. Max eventually ends up sticking with a Pole Position type of driving game. With an intense look on her face, she captures multiple first place trophies.]

God, I really could've used this place a while ago...

[ Tsukasa visits the simulation room pretty often, so he's here for this, but also is giving him a questioning look. ]

[ Osomatsu pokes his head in. ]

...Huh! Nice place ya got here!

[ Oso still looks like crap, like he really needs some coffee to keep himself awake right now. But at least he's seemingly in a better mood? So far? ]

Honestly? Some things I've stopped trying to keep track of. Probably just a way to annoy us.

[ But, as she looks about. ]

So. Boats, huh?

[ A furious frown. ]

I already felt a flash of irritation, the moment I laid eyes on you.

Ahaha I'm just kidding! That's not a good enough reason to kill.

[He counted at least ten seconds of hesitation.]

Yup, I did. Not what you expected?

... Nope. Not at all. What is this place?

[ At least he isn't drunk or hungover! It's doubtful that they can make coffee in a simulation, but at least the Starbucks is nearby? ]

It grew on me. This is just the downstairs of the place - my room is upstairs, on the floor not appearing in this simulation.

It's just one message, I don't think we'd even have proof that it went through.

[ Yeah, that's good news at least. ]

Ya live here, Akira? [ Refering to the mentioned upstairs room of the cafe and not the sim room. ]

Doesn't matter! No one here makes me feel that like you do.

[ She's stubborn. Veeeery stubborn. ]

Welcome to the Velvet Room!

[ It's not really an explanation. ]

It's... a place I went to a lot back home.

You went to a place that looks like a prison a lot. Why.

For about a year, yeah. I needed a place to say in Tokyo, and this was it.

[ Hm, hmmm. ]

It's been comfortable enough, once I got settled in and put a few homely touches in place.

Because that was the form it took when I went there. [ Simple, really. ]

It's... a place between consciousness and subconsciousness, where I summoned, strengthened and fused my Personas.

One of the robots, it- ...it killed him. Just...a few hours ago.

[ Her eyes are on her hands, the ones that held him while she could, as she begged. ]

Well, that's good! I don't know what it's like to live in a café, but I'm glad yer comfortable.

...And I, uh, hope you get back home as well.
