Final Exam.

[ It's all happened very suddenly, but regardless, you're here now. The evidence has been examined and collected. You've now been ushered into the classroom to discuss the murder of the great detective himself, Sherlock Holmes. The traditional set up has been disturbed-- all the desks are now arranged in a perfect circle; one desk for each person that's participating in the program. There are nameplates for everyone, and they have been bolted to each of the desks, facing the inside of the circle...

...including the names of the ones who are no longer with you, the Prospect of Elucidating and the Prospect of Murder. Their chairs have been placed on top of their desks, signifying that they will not be needed. Above of their desks are holograms of their portraits from their profiles, grayed out and bloodstained.

At the front of the classroom, Vivienne sits anxiously behind the teacher's desk. The projector shows Sherlock's portrait, along with five other portraits that are listed under an auspicious header. ]

Suspects.



[ The physical evidence tray sits in the middle of the circle of desks; you all have the Evidence app on your tablets to access photo evidence. And although she appears reluctant, Vivienne gives some final instructions. ]

Your final test... is to find the culprit. Naturally... the person you find guilty will be... punished... so... make sure you look for an answer you're... confident in. An error in judgment would be... cruelly... fatal...

...I'm for that too. It doesn't involve anyone getting executed or sacrificed, so I don't think it's a bad idea to give it a try.

Not just that, but Holmes was the one who planned everything, from the murder weapon to the scene of the crime. He's responsible for all of it.

[ W-well, Mishima picked the gym. Because he didn't think he could go through with it if he wasn't pretending it was Kamoshida.

But he's not. Going to say that. ]

[He assumed, but he'd have said the same thing even if he knew. Yoosung doesn't like hiding the truth, but bending it to save a friend is okay. Though he won't ask Mishima for confirmation since he DID ask him to be true to himself and all of that.]

[ ...And he practically guided him to the spot to strike. ]

There's no reason he shouldn't be taking responsibility here. It wouldn't be right.

Heck, if we can, that sounds fine to me.

[He was just gonna vote for Mishima, but he doesn't have anything against the guy. Even after the attempt to throw him under the bus, because listen, who cares?]

[He kind of expected Henry to want to see a bloody execution... clearly he's making big sacrifices and deserves gratitude. For being reasonable. He'll get used to this one day.]

[ cue angry ZURA noises because she's so disappointed in Holmes right now. SHE WAS ROOTING FOR YOU, ZURA!!!! ]

Since he was the one that planned everything, wouldn't it technically make him the mastermind of this case?

It would and it did! Besides, Oswald said this was to test our heroism, right? We would be terrible heroes if we didn't protect Mishima after he was set up like this.

[ Maru eagerly nods her in head in agreement. ]

Right! If we are supposed to be heroes, then now is the time to prove that. Mishima-kun had good intentions and he doesn't deserve to be punished.
