[Entrance Exam] Final Exam
[ It's all happened very suddenly, but regardless, you're here now. The evidence has been examined and collected. You've now been ushered into the classroom to discuss the murder of the great detective himself, Sherlock Holmes. The traditional set up has been disturbed-- all the desks are now arranged in a perfect circle; one desk for each person that's participating in the program. There are nameplates for everyone, and they have been bolted to each of the desks, facing the inside of the circle...
...including the names of the ones who are no longer with you, the Prospect of Elucidating and the Prospect of Murder. Their chairs have been placed on top of their desks, signifying that they will not be needed. Above of their desks are holograms of their portraits from their profiles, grayed out and bloodstained.
At the front of the classroom, Vivienne sits anxiously behind the teacher's desk. The projector shows Sherlock's portrait, along with five other portraits that are listed under an auspicious header. ]
[ The physical evidence tray sits in the middle of the circle of desks; you all have the Evidence app on your tablets to access photo evidence. And although she appears reluctant, Vivienne gives some final instructions. ]
Your final test... is to find the culprit. Naturally... the person you find guilty will be... punished... so... make sure you look for an answer you're... confident in. An error in judgment would be... cruelly... fatal...
Examination START.

Execution(?): With My Last Breath (CW strangulation)
[A series of gentle beeps start going off as the votes are tallied. The progress bar slowly fills as it collects the data. 15% complete... 62% complete... Vivienne begins typing, as the bar continues to rise. She works quickly, battling the speed of the computer.
With a final click, the bar stops at 99% and stays frozen there for a very long, very unnatural moment.
And then it begins counting backwards steadily as if possessed. The layout colors change and suddenly it's re-counting. This time, it takes practically no time at all for it to collect the data. Upon completion, it beeps and everyone's tablets light up. White words fill up a red background. The message is simple. It says...
The results are in.
After a few seconds, the results show. And it is not any of the suspects. But that of the familiar image from Vivienne's profile. If there was any doubt about the full authenticity of what it was saying, underneath, both her name and title appear with it.
Vivienne Gallivan. The Administrator
When the words change again, it comes with an ominous feeling.
Preparing execution...
What follows is-- to many, probably very unpleasant. The lights flicker-- but when they come back on... Vivienne is gone. But you don't have to wonder where she is for very long. The projector hums to life and a live video feed from the Faculty Office plays. Unfortunately, Vivienne is not alone. Who has come to "greet" her though, is not likely a big surprise. Oswald. Try and get out of the classroom though and you'll realize that you've all been locked in for the time being. There's nothing to do but watch and listen.]
Tsk, tsk... I warned you. But maybe it's better this way. Still... it's a shame. You were smart. Unfortunately, we can't have someone like you doing whatever you like. There are consequences for things like that.
[He grabs her by the neck and smiles.]
Don't worry. I'll take good care of your work while you're gone. Say hello to the others for me, okay?
[She struggles, but ultimately it only makes it harder to breathe. Despite the awful gasps she makes, it's over relatively quickly. With one hand, he collapses her throat and she falls to the floor, completely motionless in a heap. Stretching his fingers out he takes a moment-- before turning his head to the camera and smiling.]
...fear not. I haven't forgotten about all of you. I'll deal with you next.
[...and on that note, the projector powers down.]

Do you think she's...?!

She knew what would happen. She did it for us. So that we wouldn't have to be responsible for...
[Grits her teeth]
This sucks, this sucks!

Whoever's keeping us here had better not be happy about this! I'm going to give them a piece of my mind!

neither of them are anything like seeing your friend get killed before your eyes.

... B-But for Vivienne's sake, then Maru will try hard. Um, is there anything we can use as weapons or defend ourselves?
[ It's times like this, Maru sure wishes she could suddenly turn into HULK MARU!!! and lift a desk. ]

Well. Now that you've thoroughly doomed us all with your attempt to be a hero, I hope the lot of you are proud of yourselves.
[ Kill him quickly, please. ]
This isn't a manga where you can pull off acts of heroism. Being dead means we can't do a thing against this.

Terra fucks stuff up routinely and makes bad choices all the time. But still this is terrible.
That said, he gives the man the most defiant look he can give. Because screw Oswald

Even if she was involved, death was never the right option. That had never been the Phantom Thieves' way of doing things - people who died couldn't confess their sins and live with them after all.
He's already scanning around the room, looking for an option. He's not letting some puffed up asshole with a god complex waltz in and mess things up even more. ]
Where's the camera Vivienne-san pointed out?
