Awaken...
[ Everything still feels a bit hazy when you pull yourself out of bed this morning. Bed... not all of you may remember going to bed. It may take several long minutes for that feeling to die down. Several things may seem immediately wrong. But even if the basics are familiar-- there's a sort of uneasy feeling of wrongness that lingers as you come to. That feeling will probably never go away entirely.
Attached to your wrist is a small plastic wristband, almost like a watch, but without the numbers. Try as you might, it won't come off. For those of you who are familiar, it is designed with an uncanny familiarity to a Fitbit.
And then there's your current abode-- the room is fully furnished for one person-- and you are in fact alone, which may be a relief... or a great concern. The basics are all there: desk, lamp, bed, closet...
As the little things go though, it's almost completely bare of any personal flare. No personal effects at all...
With one exception.
On the desk sits a black tablet. And almost immediately after you find it, the thing starts going off one rapid fire 'ding' after another. Check it out and you will find several messages have popped up on the screen for you to scan through. The source and the content is... well. As questionable as everything else this morning I'd say. ]
[ It would seem that you have much to investigate. Perhaps discussing it with these "others" may be the most beneficial way to proceed for now. At the very least there is a promise of answers in the near future. Whether or not they'll be to your liking though... highly doubtful at this stage, really. But who knows! Going back to school (or to school for your first time) can't be so bad, right? ]

However, Terra isn't willing to let this go without telling him something and so his expression kind of tightens. ]
This isn't a normal school, by the way; they made us believe it was going to be harmless 'studying' and taking normal exams to help out their world. But the reality is those upstairs want us to be pit up against each other.
They expected -- or actually "encouraged" -- one of us to kill someone and then when it happened, had us all deliberate over it too.
There's also lethal consequences for not following the rules.

I think so. At first they dressed this all up as taking regular exams or lessons to help save their world, and then when they told this was all about proving our worth as a 'hero'...

It made it sound more like some kind of deranged experiment to me. They'll only stop when they're satisfied with the results they've gotten from this.

Yeah. I figured I'd warn some people I'd come across, just in case...
And for the ones I haven't -- I plan on kind of holding a meeting sometime this week. People will find out about it anywhere if they try it again, and to be honest, maybe it'll keep someone from acting if they know about the consequences of even falling to their bait.
[ Terra's used to fighting, but as far as he remembered, he hadn't had to fight just to survive. He doesn't want it to be like that, either, but what could he do if it did go that route...? ]

We weren't very lucky with that last time. It probably had to do with the fact that we also had no real idea what we were actually getting into, so we didn't have much time to look into it.
Though, there were some odd things going on even before Todd decided it was time to make things worse. All of us that had been brought to the university weren't the only ones who were in the school at the time.

It was just...two people. One male, one female.
They were within some part of the University we couldn't get to I think, and we could only communicate with them when the power went out on our side.
They wouldn't give out their real names--they gave us code names, introducing themselves as Number One and Number Two. They also said that they're originally from this world.
