WEEK ONE
[ Well that Orientation... happened. Whether you feel more informed or not, the truth remains. Here you are, within Fayflower University. You have your run of the campus, indoors and out.
There's also your tablets to play with. There are several apps-- and even a game! They didn't leave you without some entertainment. The music is a bit dated though...
And should you wish, there's still time to talk to the "staff" in a more... private setting. The office. They're not hard to find. Well-- your Professor, Han and Megumi aren't. Oswald is a bit more... difficult. ]

[He sighs.]
At least I can continue writing.
no subject
Woah, this stuff's high end.
no subject
[He's still judging them though.]
.....I still wish that they had my usual writing supplies. Pencil is always going to look unrefined when compared to the writing you get using a quill.

[You don't have to judge the inanimate objects. They can't judge back.]
No offense, but have you tried writing with a pen? Or, on a computer?
no subject
[He's mildly offended that you assumed he's that out of touch.]
no subject
[He had to ask after meeting the guy who couldn't work a tablet.]
I take it you're into calligraphy?
no subject
No.. it's....ah... it's fine. You said to not get offended. I.... I shouldn't have raised my voice.... still, Do I.... do really seem that out of touch..?
[Does he really seem like someone who's not used a pencil or computer before....????? Poe perks up out of his sulking though at the question about calligraphy.]
Very. I find it relaxing.
[Well, that and it makes his personal copies of his books look important and he really likes that.... but that's not something anyone needs to know.]
no subject
Yeah, I've already met two people who legit didn't know about technology. I had to ask.
But hey. Calligraphy is one of those lost arts, ain't it? Your hobbies are valid.

[There's more than Waver here...?]
It is. Though I find that fact it even qualifies as such to be... um... well... unfortunate.
[He gets why it's going out of style, but still, it's unfortunate.]
no subject
What can I say? Technology marches on, less people wanna deal with ink pots and quills because ball point pens are easier.
... Now that I think of it, aren't there modern pens with quill ends on them? I forget the name.
no subject
[Poe tilts his head in thought.]
I.... I think I've seen those before. I don't think they have an specific name though....
