WEEK ONE
[ Well that Orientation... happened. Whether you feel more informed or not, the truth remains. Here you are, within Fayflower University. You have your run of the campus, indoors and out.
There's also your tablets to play with. There are several apps-- and even a game! They didn't leave you without some entertainment. The music is a bit dated though...
And should you wish, there's still time to talk to the "staff" in a more... private setting. The office. They're not hard to find. Well-- your Professor, Han and Megumi aren't. Oswald is a bit more... difficult. ]

This what that shit show yesterday was about? Jesus, did people really think it'd be as easy as walking out?

[ Focused on hanging another, Rebecca blows a puff of air out her nose, clearly annoyed. ]
Like lemmings, the lot of them.

[ Children. ]

[ DIdn't anybody teach these kids?? ]

We're just going to get more and more desperate.

[ He sighs. HE doesn't even want to think about it. ]
Might be a good idea to set some kinda ground rules, at least to keep these idiots from hurting themselves.

[ Yeaaah, he knows they won't though. ]
You're telling me. Can't get heads or tails on that fucking clown guy.

I'll be honest, I've handled plenty of kidnappings and a couple of hostage situations, but nothing this fucking crazy. Normally I'd say the best thing is to wait it out for the police to do their thing on the outside, but that doesn't look like it's gonna happen here.

[ She closes her eyes briefly. If she never returns home... If time does pass... What's Ashton been doing? How out of his mind has he been going, with her disappearance on top of everything? Has Zachary been able to keep him calm? Have the two managed to talk, after...everything that happened? ]
...So...then what do we do?

[ He can't say he's worried about home the way she is, but he understands the desire to return. It's only natural. ]
Only thing we can do. We work together. We find out as much as we can about this place, figure out if there's some kind of way out and if the people in charge -- or the head dick, anyway, has any kind of weakness.
There's more of us than there are of them.

I have a...friend, who's a detective. Every time he's on a case, it's like...that's all that matters. Should it be like that?
no subject
[ He pauses, thinking on her words. Well, he isn't the world's best cop or anything, he'll admit that. ]
No. There's more important things than solving a case -- like saving lives. Won't be any good to figure out what's wrong if people get hurt on the way there.

Alright. I just...wanted to double-check. I've never been on this side of it, a mystery. It's always been something to spectate.

[ He shrugs. He's not the most popular cop in the DPD for a reason (it's not that one.) ]
