[ he reaches over, as subtly as he can, to interface with han's computer and check out that code dont mind him while trying to get up. the skin on his hand peels back, leaving white plastic where he's touching the other machine. ]

It's hard to notice time passing when you get really into the weeds of it, isn't it?

[it seems like he's running some sort of query to a... server? it's a server somewhere. but it's not working.

Are you designed to be more human-like than a pure assistant?

I have a social adaptability program so I can fit in with any team of detectives. CyberLife wanted to facilitate my integration within a department.

But you aren't adaptable in that your personality changes, right? This is you, not just you saying stuff you know I'll nerd out about?

My personality can adapt, too. And my program does suggest that you'll enjoy hearing about these things. But that doesn't make them any less true.

[ he's quiet for a moment and then looks over at him. ]
