WEEK ONE
[ Well that Orientation... happened. Whether you feel more informed or not, the truth remains. Here you are, within Fayflower University. You have your run of the campus, indoors and out.
There's also your tablets to play with. There are several apps-- and even a game! They didn't leave you without some entertainment. The music is a bit dated though...
And should you wish, there's still time to talk to the "staff" in a more... private setting. The office. They're not hard to find. Well-- your Professor, Han and Megumi aren't. Oswald is a bit more... difficult. ]

[Poe... honestly doesn't believe what he's saying though. Why set up a situation like this, if not to get them to kill each other. The profiles, the limited amount of space they are given, the weapons occasionally showing up in those boxes.... it all seems to be aimed toward setting up the perfect killing environment.]

[He reaches inside the blazer of his uniform and pulls out...a stuffed raccoon? He holds the little thing up to his face and taps it once on the nose.]
What do we think of that, Yakov Petrovich? Seems unlikely, doesn't it, Yakov Petrovich?
no subject
[That's probably the loudest he's been here, except for maybe at the wall. For an brief illogical moment, Poe's convinced the clown somehow kidnapped Karl, or that someone taxidermied him, before he looks closer and realizes it's just an replica. An.... eerily close one.]
I... how... why do you have an replica of Karl?!?
no subject
Who's Karl? [He turns the Raccoon to face Poe.] This is Yakov Petrovich.
no subject
[Or.. at least an more grown up version come to think of it. Karl's still fairly young in Poe's current memories.]
I... I know you saw the notice I put up about our things sometimes appearing in those boxes! This.. this is probably meant for me.... though was it really that hard for them to get the real one???
[He really would've preferred the real Karl. It's not like he would be difficult to get. Poe lives alone. What could possibly be an obstacle to getting him? It's not like Karl would have anyone to take care of him with Poe gone.
Karl is probably getting very fat living it up with the ADA right now.]no subject
Nope! He was given to me, so he must belong to me. My little Yakov Petrovich Golyadkin.
[Little Yakov Petrovich gets a brief kiss on the head.]

[Poe just... really wants to punch Gogol right now. But he's well aware that he wouldn't be able to even touch the clown. So really... the best option right now is to bide his time and either hatch some sort of plan or see if anyone is willing to rob the clown. But.... at the same time. He doesn't exactly want to start a fight here. So he's just... going to with great effort try and sit down.]
Fine. Just... just take good care of him.
[It's.... it's not like it's the real Karl. This is fine. Really. He can just... put his little revenge plan into motion a bit sooner than he expected to. Diluting just enough ink into water to make it stain shouldn't be that hard.... though hiding the water gun might be hard. Maybe he can just... just snipe the clown later????? God he hopes it stains.]
no subject
Oh well, gee, if you really want him that badly, maybe I can trade you for him?
no subject
[Why does he get the feeling he's not going to like this trade.]
no subject
[He holds the plush with a tightness like it’s a hostage.]
Your switchblade and X-acto knife, please.
no subject
[He's not exactly keen on letting the Clown have them.... plus, almost everyone is here at this meeting. He can't exactly agree to a trade like this in front of them all... but he really misses Karl... and just... maybe he'll humor the Clown just a tiny bit. Maybe there's someway he could dull the blades....? He never said they have to be in one piece either.]

[Do you really want to know how good he is with knives, Poe?]

Well, of course, this is a place of learning, isn't it, Mr. Detective? There's no better opportunity to share that wisdom with you.

[He tightens his grip on the plush, and points it at Poe’s face, squeezing the stuffed life out of it.]
Yakov Petrovich, tell this man how much of a fool he is!
no subject
[Okay, just seeing that is enough to make him think of what will happen to Replica Karl if he's left in the clown's hands any longer and well... he's not that strong.]
Fine. You win. Just..... just give me a minute to get the knives.
[God.... he already knows he's going to regret this.]
no subject
I knew I could count on you, Mr. Detective. [He relaxes his grip and begins to stroke Yakov Petrovich’s little head. He might just begin to miss this little thing.] So where should we rendezvous?
no subject
[He is already regretting this.]

no subject
[And he doesn't need to worry about the clown stabbing him this way, so...... with that said, Poe quickly makes his way out of the room, only to return in maybe a minute with the knives in hand. ]
