WEEK ONE

[ Well that Orientation... happened. Whether you feel more informed or not, the truth remains. Here you are, within Fayflower University. You have your run of the campus, indoors and out.

There's also your tablets to play with. There are several apps-- and even a game! They didn't leave you without some entertainment. The music is a bit dated though...

And should you wish, there's still time to talk to the "staff" in a more... private setting. The office. They're not hard to find. Well-- your Professor, Han and Megumi aren't. Oswald is a bit more... difficult. ]

Holmes? As in Sherlock Holmes?

[ well, there's no helping the way that waver's eyes widen as he hears a name that he's only heard of in stories. not only that, but the way that yoosung was saying it...well, it is shocking.

however that's not the main point. ]

Of course, if they're pushed to a point where they're made psychologically vulnerable, they'll be more willing to believe something like that. That's exactly what I mean.

Yeah, he was Sherlock Holmes. Not that I really get how that works...

[what the fuck is fate/]

Well, did you already know they can manipulate our memories that directly?

I didn't. This is just a theory at most. However, after being hijacked myself, it's not hard to believe that these people are capable of doing it on their own.

[He's just fretting at that.]

I thought they were similar too... making us relive our memories and hijacking personalities, that's not too far different if you get down to it!

I don't want to think about this, but... They're used to working with all of these advanced AI like Viv, right? Maybe they just... [Yoosung grimaces as he says it.] Put some kind of chip in our brains, too!

Chips in our brains?

[ well, waver would deny it further, but if this is really such a far future, then it might actually be possible. ]

I guess...we can't really toss that theory aside. And I guess that would explain why we're only "safe" inside the campus. [ he shrugs ] But it's still a little hard to believe, to be honest.
