WEEK ONE

[ Well that Orientation... happened. Whether you feel more informed or not, the truth remains. Here you are, within Fayflower University. You have your run of the campus, indoors and out.

There's also your tablets to play with. There are several apps-- and even a game! They didn't leave you without some entertainment. The music is a bit dated though...

And should you wish, there's still time to talk to the "staff" in a more... private setting. The office. They're not hard to find. Well-- your Professor, Han and Megumi aren't. Oswald is a bit more... difficult. ]

[ Well, hey. It was beneficial in the long run, right? Getting to know your fellow Apprentices and the like? ]

Of a sort, yeah. Lock picks and all.

[ He keeps flicking through the screens, but inevitably ends up on the profile page as well. They're all a pretty interesting bunch, aren't they? ]

Never stolen a time machine though. Those things are real?

Of course they are! It was a genuine time machine, like a spaceship that let you go to the past or the future! And I stole only of the only two in existence!

[...although...the hat man shakes his head. He hadn't thought about where his time machine was, but if he got to this year because of it...]

The teachers must have it, and you can't just go and ask a teacher to return something to you. I'm doomed!

So, no leaping back in time and stopping them from capturing us. [ Dammit. That would've been a great plan... something the administration couldn't stop. ]

If you asked them and made them think it was for their benefit, they might let you know where it is. Pretend to give a demonstration?

Yes! Yes, that's it! [He starts making hammy gestures] Show me the time machine, teachers! I will demonstrate how it works! And then I'll get on the machine and...

[He's already sounding so confident it's going to work, oblivious to the very obvious flaws in such plan]

...

[ Akira is here to help. ]

Would they actually let you get in the time machine? You might have to get a bit clever with them to pull that off.

I'm confident in my persuasion abilities.

[i.e: begging if necessary]

It's good to be confidant in yourself. But backup plans other than persuasion don't hurt.

[ Have you considered the old "look, it's a convenient distraction!" method? ]

Backup plans, backup plans...

[What a coincidence, a good old distraction method crosses his mind just now. Took him long enough, eh?]

I could set up a distraction. There's so much in this place to use for that, I could think of something...like...uh...

[It's hard to talk about his plans when he's supposed to not mention Doris. He's at a loss of how to word things around that hat-shaped obstacle]

[ You're doin' great sweetie. ]

I'm sure there's something here that can be used as a distraction. You could always just oil the floor outside the faculty office then get them to run outside.

That should be a pretty good distraction.

[ And one he's already planning to do to Todd, someday. Maybe. ]
