Well, it's easy to just hold the shoulders if they fall from really far away and still have a lot of their weight in the legs. But you have to trust the person so much to do it like that. If they're really close, they still p-press their whole body against yours...

[Ignore him, he's a desperate nerd. He does have to calm down a bit to be able to fall properly instead of just flailing around like a dumbass, anyway. So after he takes another breath, he tips back on his heels.]

[The small, thin arms of one Max Caulfield quickly wrap around his arms and chest. Again, thankfully, they're close in size, otherwise it may have been a problem. But nope! She holds him comfortably.]
