Well that was. [Han...] You all did really well yesterday.

[She didn't participate but of course, she was watching! ...probably on her phone. But today she's here to assist! Which means there's probably some other stupid activity ready to be thrown your way.]

Today we have a different kind of bonding activity for you! The name of today's game is--! Two lies and a truth. Today you're going to test how well you know each other-- and maybe learn a lot more!

[And for those who may not know the rules--]

You're going to give someone a list of two things that are not true about you-- and one that is. And based on what they know about you and their impressions of you, they're going to do their best to find the truth. When it's all done, you'll tell them whether they're right or not and if they got it wrong-- you'll tell them the truth!

Up until a few weeks ago, that would've been true. But it's not.

[unhalting]

Guess I can't disagree with you there. They seem pretty pointless.

[But hmmmmmmmmmmm. ..........Yeah he still doesn't know which one it is.]

I'll go for the third.

[devotingly]

Nope. I don't have grandparents.

[ he huffs. if that's the case, then there's only one option left, although he doesn't seem bothered by it at all.

in fact, waver calmly moves on to the next subject. ]

I guess it's your turn, or something like that.

[unhalting]

[Huh. Most of the kids he knows are also orphans, so it's not too unusual in his mind. He'll go along with the subject change.]

Is that how it's supposed to work? ...Alright, fine. [Give him a minute.]

I've swam in the ocean before, I don't have family, and I grew up on Mars.

[devotingly]

[ waver thinks about it, humming. ]

Well, we have an android, so I guess what we need is an alien. Are you from Mars?

[unhalting]

Not an alien, but yeah, I'm from Mars. [Besides, does he really look that weird...! (dont answer that)]

[devotingly]

So you're human, but you grew up in Mars. Did humans colonize Mars in your universe or something?

[unhalting]

Yeah, it's been like that for about 300 years already. Can't really tell you much about the details, but it's enough for us to survive, if barely.

[devotingly]

Huh...well that's still pretty interesting. Have you ever been to Earth?

[unhalting]

Yeah, been there for business a couple of times, so it wasn't really for taking in the sights. Haven't went to London before, though.

[devotingly]

It's a huge tourist trap. If anyone tells you go there, run the other way.

[unhalting]

Honestly, I don't even really know what those kinds of cities are like. [Edmonton isn't exactly the tourism capital of North America, after all.] What's supposed to be so interesting about 'em?

[devotingly]

They're large cities that have a ton of landmarks and a good amount of history. Which is interesting on its own, but then they start charging a ridiculous amount of money for something as simple as 'looking down at the city from a giant wheel'.

[unhalting]

[History, huh. That's definitely not something he'd find too interesting, but the other bit is more baffling.]

...Giant wheel? The hell's the point of that?

[devotingly]

It's called a Ferris Wheel. It's a giant wheel like machine that turns very slowly so the passengers can view the horizon or the scenery or something stupid like that. I don't know.

[ he shrugs. he doesn't care about this sort of thing!! ]

[unhalting]

Sounds like a waste of time if that's the only thing you're payin' for.
