Well that was. [Han...] You all did really well yesterday.

[She didn't participate but of course, she was watching! ...probably on her phone. But today she's here to assist! Which means there's probably some other stupid activity ready to be thrown your way.]

Today we have a different kind of bonding activity for you! The name of today's game is--! Two lies and a truth. Today you're going to test how well you know each other-- and maybe learn a lot more!

[And for those who may not know the rules--]

You're going to give someone a list of two things that are not true about you-- and one that is. And based on what they know about you and their impressions of you, they're going to do their best to find the truth. When it's all done, you'll tell them whether they're right or not and if they got it wrong-- you'll tell them the truth!

Every teacher I've ever met, myself included, would give this place a no-star rating, let me put it that way.

It feels like the school is just dressing for whatever they really want out of us.

I still wonder what the point of it all is... [ SIGH, rubs her forehead. ]

[He sighs, too.]

That's a damn good question.

Instead of giving us any kind of answer, they tell us to do these silly party games.

To 'get to know each other better.'

[He doesn't know the concept of finger quotes, but you can practically feel the finger quotes.]

Or something like that.

[ She rolls her eyes. ]

Whatever they really want of all this, who knows.

It's contradictory. Do they want us to make nice, or kill each other?

Both? Everything? Who knows what those dobbers have in their heads. According to Terra, it took awhile for their intentions to come to light, before...

[ A light shiver. She doesn't like the thought of it, that happening again. ]

...From the way she reacted before, I think the woman may actually want to protect us from whatever the rest are doing. No idea on that idiot of a professor, though.

He surely doesn't have to brain cells to rub together, if he thinks any of us should be taking this kindly. Personally, I wouldn't trust him a single bit.

[machrophage]

Oh, I don't trust any of them as far as a kitten could throw them.

[Because Viral himself could probably throw them quite a distance.]

But if you were to make a list of them from most to least suspicious, it'd be that administrator, the professor, then the woman.

His nonchalant approach bugs me. How he keeps trying to be friendly...and then takes umbrage when I'm pissed off at him.

It's like they don't understand why we would be upset. It's one thing to kidnap people, but another to act as though we somehow signed up for this! Like there's nothing to be concerned about!

[His volume's picking up a little.]

[ Same on her end, she's just sounding more and more irritated. ]

Exactly! As if their little explanations mean we should be completely happy and fine with being dragged out of our lives and tossed into this...mockery of a school to do who knows what!

It might actually mean something if they actually explained a damn thing! But all they do is talk around anything meaningful!
