[Entrance Exam] Arrival
You wake up. There’s a dull, throbbing pain in your head that lasts for a few moments. You’re slightly disoriented at first, but once you come to your senses, you realize that you are not where you were last. You lift your head and realize that you're sitting at a desk. You aren’t quite sure where this is, exactly, but from what you can tell--desk and all--this appears to be some sort of...fancy classroom. Maybe there are others in the room who are as lost and confused as you are; maybe you’re the only one. At least you’re not in the dark. The room is well-lit, giving you a proper view of the blue and silver designs that make up the school’s colors.
You feel something around your wrist, so look down at your hands and notice a strange sort of bracelet. Some of you may be able to discern that it's some sort of Fitbit, but try as you might, you cannot remove it.
You only have a few more seconds to process what’s happening before you hear something buzzing on the desk you’re sitting at.
It appears to be a tablet of some sort. It turns on automatically due to a notification that pops up on the screen. The notification reads, “Good morning, Prospect. Welcome to Fayflower University’s Entrance Exam!”
There’s a “Next” button that leads you to another notification: “Please spend the next hour introducing yourself to your fellow Prospects. More information on your peers can be found on the "Profiles" app. Failure to engage will result in punishment. Be sure to adhere to the rules, which can be found in an application called “Rules” on this device.”
There’s one last notification: “When the hour is up, report to the Gymnasium immediately for your Orientation. You will be given further information and instruction there.”
You exit out of the notification. You now understand what the notification means: the tablet has four applications: Rules, Tasks, Profiles, and Maps. If you try to click on the Tasks app, another notification pops up indicating that the application is currently unaccessible. The Maps app only shows you a map of the building you're in right now. There's a little marker indicating your location as well: The one and only classroom in the vicinity.
A large red timer appears at the bottom of the screen. 59:59.
You'd better get started.

[Says the actual university student who is all slacking and no sympathy.]

[Damn all of these teens that are so much taller than him.]
You're the second high schooler I've met... maybe they're trying some kind of prodigy scouting program.
[beat, as he remembers the situation and laughs nervously.]
An... involuntary one.
no subject
Well... someone from the same year and school as me is here too, but I have no idea of there are more high schoolers around here.
I wouldn't say I'm a prodigy. [ Even if he probably did max out his smarts for a good playthrough with all the confidants, go big or go home. ]

More of a ... "Phan"site.
[ Akira that joke doesn't work verbally. ]
no subject
Is it bad to be a fan? I wasn't sure at first if the stuff he was talking about was legit...
no subject
[ Which is, uh. A lot. ]
It's a pun, by the way. Phansite isn't spelt the way you think.
no subject
[And this guy says they're legit, too. He muses for a moment, taking his phone out of his pocket to fiddle with.]
I wonder if our coordinator would be interested in Phantom Thieves...
[...Ah, but the RFA app doesn't work here. He frowns and puts it back.]
I do a lot of work with a fundraising organization. We're supposed to be holding a big party in about a week, so I'm helping her find guests to invite.
no subject
[ Because that... scans completely. Very Mishima. ]
You'd be interested in inviting thieves with secret identities to a party? What if they stole something? [ Like the hearts of any corrupt executives in the area. Hmm hmm.
He's assuming Yoosung hasn't been keeping a close eye on the profiles, but he's not going to prompt him. ]
no subject
Though if they wanted to make someone confess, I'd be okay with that too.
[This is only a slightly conspiratorial joke!! Though Yoosung ... definitely wants to pull answers out of someone..... he'll draw the profile connections later.]
no subject
[ Charities, schools... these kinds of situations should be full of people who can be trusted, who want to do good and help people. It isn't always the case. ]
If there's someone who need to make a confess, maybe they'll find them. [ They have to find those corrupt targets somehow. ]
no subject
[If only he could at least see it... though any fretting over this is more over the extent to which this internet-free place is cursing him.]
As for who's running RFA, we all are. Besides the coordinator, there's me, Seven, Jumin, Jaehee, and Zen! [There's a pause.] And V. RFA gathers donations for a lot of important causes. I always try to think of what Rika would have wanted, so the organization stays good. She was really passionate about helping anyone who was in need or even just suffering. But V is the leader now, so... ["Meh" seems like a good ending to this sentence, but he puts in a little more effort.] ...The rest of us just have to work extra hard.
no subject
[ Alas, it is an internetless life they lead. ]
... You don't pick an individual cause and work towards that? [ Ahaha. Well. It's not hard to tell there's no love lost towards this 'V' guy.... ]
