 [ Week 2 has begun. It's quiet and calm on campus so far, and you definitely aren't being called out for more. You know. BS or icebreakers. The wall is still deceptively easy to hop over, the birds are singing, Todd's somewhere on campus.

Works for me! Do you want to start back to back like in those cool westerns?

I think that would be pretty cool, so yeah. Let's do that.

[This is exactly the way she wants to die. Time to get ready! And soon enough, she's with her back to Shirou, marshmallow gun at the ready.]

Aaaalright. So I think we're supposed to take ten steps and turn and fire, like the movies! You ready for it?

Ready.

[ He nods as he has his gun by his side. ] Let's do it.

[This is the most serious Maya's been since... well, honestly there's always a serious bent to her actions. No matter how silly they are.

Gun by her side, she sets out, just as Shirou does by the sounds of it. Five, six, seven, eight... there's just enough room in the cafeteria for this, thank goodness. Or else it may have ended up sidetracked.

No matter, they're ready. And Maya knows what to do when she reaches ten steps. Quicker than she thought she could, the medium turns and opens fire with good aim and energy riding high already. After all, she wouldn't waste a good marshmallow.]

[ While Shirou isn't exactly the most serious when it comes to this in particular, he does want to play things a little seriously since he was the one who had offered this to begin with.

His gun remains at his side as he takes his ten steps, keeping them careful and measured before he aims to shoot himself-- his aim is pretty spot on, given his archery training, but he's also looking to avoid getting hit himself, hence the moment he shoots, he tries to slide under the table to dodge the marshmallow's hit. ]

[To Maya's credit, she's tenacious. But she doesn't have any of the particular skills a son of Kiritsugu Emiya might posses. If this fight is going to end in one way, at least she'll go down swinging.

Which is to say, she dodges Shirou's first shots, only to end up flailing so badly she falls over.]

Ow!

[Still trying to shoot Shirou though.]
