 [ Week 2 has begun. It's quiet and calm on campus so far, and you definitely aren't being called out for more. You know. BS or icebreakers. The wall is still deceptively easy to hop over, the birds are singing, Todd's somewhere on campus.

Naw, Plegia appreciates that school way too much. I mean, they get a bunch of good mages out of it! They're not stopping anytime soon.

[And straight off to the army with all of them. But that's fine. The country is broken, it's cool.]

Y-Yeah, I probably am. But I mean, with the way you've described your life so far, I would have been more surprised if it turned out she was your sister or something...

Anyway.]

It's this girl I met in RFA's chatting app before I was kidnapped here... well, she had recently joined a few days before to help us host our fundraising party. But I was having so much fun talking to her, I signed into the messenger way more often. And she's really sweet, and she defended me whenever the others made fun of me for playing too many games!

... I know it sounds like I just met her, but ... I still think about her a lot. The first week we were here, I kept wondering about whether I should recommend any of the people here to her as party guests, and stuff... I was just looking for more subjects to talk about with her, really.

[Yoosung pauses, like he swallowed a lump of something heavy after thinking about the party guests again.]

...The party would have already happened by now though. And all the other guys in RFA liked her a lot too... I might've missed my shot, ahaha.

[Wow, he's even more pissed at Todd than he was before, come to think of it. Let's draw in a stupid tongue for him, with action lines like he's doing a raspberry.]

That'd be pretty weird anyway, 'cause I'm pretty sure I'm an only child. I mean, probably? I don't think my parents would've wanted another kid! They're not really the type.

[They already didn't want the first one.]

Hm... Sounds like you really like her a whole bunch! She's gotta be really nice, defending you like that and stuff.

Aw, but I dunno if being here means you missed your chance! Maybe she liked you a bunch too. You never know, right? No reason to give up in advance.

[H-He didn't know that. That's not why he'd be surprised, but oh no. If that's why he said things weren't any different before magic school... Man, Yoosung has no idea what he should do when he starts feeling protective over Henry when he's so much weaker than him.]

Ahaha, well, if you ever want someone to look out for you like an older brother, I can give it a shot. I'm always the baby in the group so it could be good practice!

[There. He doubts he'll take him up on that offer, but his pangs are assuaged. After he let Mishima down by being so immature, he has to compensate in every way that he can.

He's a little surprised that Henry's encouraging him too. He'd taken his dismissal earlier as a sign that he wasn't interested in romance... but.]

Listen to you! You're a romantic after all!

[It's easier to turn it around on him than acknowledge what he said... even if he's right, and it's flustering to think that she'd already return his affections. If he could be sure that was the case, he wouldn't have been so jealous of the other RFA members all the time. Thinking that she might wait for him does give him some hope for the future though... he's filing that for later.]
