The second week is almost over and it seems as though maybe things will be just fine. You wake on this Friday as fine as any other. And even as you go through the Dormitory, everything seems to be just fine.

But once you step outside...

You've been waiting for this to happen, you were warned from the beginning that it possibly could. And yet, you'd hoped that you wouldn't have to worry. That everyone would stand strong, together against this stupid test.

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case.

YOOSUNG'S ROOM

[Her friend is dead. Her friend is dead and she's going into his room.

Wiping away tears, she doesn't want some stranger going through Yoosung's things, it would be much better if a friend checked it out. Being around the body for too much longer than she was...she couldn't take it, what a coward.

If she can open the door, she'll check for anything looking unusual.

What she can see immediately is that his room is exceptionally clean. The bed is made, his floors are swept, there’s almost no sign of a struggle. And yet... the lampshade is crooked?]

[Hm. Yoosung never seemed particularly neat. She'll crouch and inspect the lamp. Anything else strange about it or around it?]

[Beep beep neighbor coming in through the open door.]

I wish I could say I was surprised.

[Hey mods, Viral was in here just the other day because Yoosung volunteered his mattress, what's what. Also, any smells/etc humans might miss?]

[Well, you'd notice without question that the flat sheet is missing from the bed, for sure.]

[Yep that sure is gonna be gone. I'm going to assume it's not anywhere else in the room because there's a nekkid down at the pool wearing a sheet, but even so.]

[It is not! But there is something else on the bed! It looks like a diary.]

[Welp he's going to take that and if there's a most recent page marked in some way, turn to that while ignoring the rest.

Otherwise he's giving journal-kun to Max because she was actually friends with the guy.]

[There's lots of writing! But if anything, someone may recognize the journal as one of the ones that Monika was handing out.

But even from the lastest page you can get the jist that Yoosung was quite depressed, and not entirely just because he was grappling with the deaths from the mock round. There’s a lot of mentions of what his Dear Cousin Rika In Heaven would do which directly lead into how he really wishes he could at least be more helpful to people.]

[Alright, that's enough snooping for potential clues in a dead guy's business. Anything else about the bed-area?]

[Later, once Max has calmed down, she'll flip through the journal that Viral handed to her. Are there any mentions of a girlfriend or any of the other students?

S-Sorry. [Her voice breaks, and quickly she turns her back to viral, leaning against a wall and crying.]

[Upon closer inspection, it's clear that the lampshade has been broken. On top of that the lightbulb is missing.]

[Quickly, Max is going to take out her tablet and snap pictures of the lamp and the room as a whole. His room would be pretty easy to tamper with...

So broken lampshade, missing lightbulb. Are there any shards of glass or signs the lightbulb was smashed?]

[There is a soggy patch of carpet near the lamp you'll find while checking the floor. But you'll find the glass under the bed along with something else. It looks like a button off of a blazer. It looks like it was ripped off.]

[Snapsnap. She's going to take the button in case they find something that matches with it, considering it seemed like it was lost in a struggle.

Before she forgets, she's going to touch and smell the soggy bit of carpet. It's gotta just be water, right? where's Connor when you need him she's not licking this]
