First Study Session
The second week is almost over and it seems as though maybe things will be just fine. You wake on this Friday as fine as any other. And even as you go through the Dormitory, everything seems to be just fine.
But once you step outside...
You've been waiting for this to happen, you were warned from the beginning that it possibly could. And yet, you'd hoped that you wouldn't have to worry. That everyone would stand strong, together against this stupid test.
Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case.

He just locked him up?!
[ No??? The good boy?! ]
I hope you bit his ankles. [ To robocorg. Destroy him. ]

IT WAS DARK. I DID NOT LIKE IT!
[ Hank pets the robo-corgi's head, soothing him. ]
There there, little guy. You're good now.

[ Hello Hank he's getting up close to give the very good boy some very good head pats. Who is the bestest best boy? Yes it's the robocorgo. ]
I'm glad he's alright. Or as alright as any of us can be in this place.
...
I was worried Todd had done something to him. Something worse.

Yeah, same here. Can't believe he'd just locked him up somewhere.

[ GOOD CALLETO. ]

[ Oh boy oh boy what a good dog. Way to keep Hank sane, Calleto!!! ]

It takes that kind of a jerk to be willing to hold a powerful role in a program like this.

[ but that might be the subject of a private conversation..... ]

[ HMMMM. ]

Hale's just the tip of the iceberg.

[ ... ] We need a way to find out who pulls Todd's strings, without putting a spotlight over our heads.

[ Hank shrugs. ]
If you figure out how to do that, let me or Connor know, kid.
no subject
Will do. If you fancy helping, let me know.

So if you come up with something solid, you let me know. But I'm a cop -- my job's supposed to be to keep you out of trouble, y'know?
[ if you must do crazy shit, don't tell hank... ]

[ Excuse you. ]
And I don't make half-baked schemes. I make ones that work because the people who are supposed to be helping people like me, don't.

[ Still a baby. ]
Right, then you have fun with that. If you ever wanna try and be responsible, then let me know. If you're gonna run around half-cocked, then the less I know, the better.
no subject
[ Hmmmm. ]
I suppose your idea of a responsibility and mine differ, and that's that. [ He's protected people, and kept his team safe this long. Hank can think what he wants. ]

[ He's an old man. ]
Yep, pretty much. I know telling you to cool your teen jets ain't gonna do shit, anyway.
no subject
[ Gran'pa. ]
Pretty much.
