Second Study Session

After last week, you'd all hope that this wouldn't come to pass again. Yet, after the third week you've all had maybe some of you may have begun to feel a creeping dread. There are a few different reactions to have when you wake up on Friday morning and look around. The hallucinations and the voices are all gone. Get up and walk around, but they're nowhere to be found now; just a memory now.

What's left is the why. Maybe you've all passed.

Or just maybe... you should hurry and check the main building.

Okay, give him a minute here someone has to have gloves and-- well. Hopefully the gloves he finds are Todd's. Because as soon as he finds some, he's putting them on and coming back to the .... selection of clues. Ick.

So let's get this over with, is there anything he needs to look at regarding the head, other than general decomposition? ]

[Nope it. Sure is still Grantaire. He aged better in life than he did in death though.]

[ Thank god, he's just going to uh. Set that down to one side.

So, on to the cloth, what are we looking at with this cloth? ]

[You may recognize it if you've seen Henry playing with it before... or from the crime scene. It is a part of the cape Henry made this week out of the school's sheets.]

[ Oh. Huh...

If he examines it closer will he find anything? Any notable rips or tears or stains...? ]

[It was torn yes. There's shredding at the end. And based on the size, this is only a portion of it.]

[ Interesting. Where's the rest of it...?

Well, Max has got the string of lights under control, so... is there anything else to note about the cloth or the room in general? ]

[Not the inside but maybe you should take a closer look at the hallway outside.]

What's he gonna find out there, a flower crown for the head? ]

It’s a perfectly good head.

It's decomposing, smells bad and belongs to a - shockingly enough - dead man.

What are you planning on doing with it? Making accessories??

Well, Henry and I had talked about making a nice set piece out of it. He’d look quite nice with some flowers, I think.

I can’t let his lovely bone structure go to waste, now, can I?

... Put it in formaldehyde, there must be some in the biology labs. Otherwise I'm getting rid of it as soon as we're done here.

[While Akira takes care of the head (and takes the only pair of gloves, thanks) Max is going to lean in as best she can and try to examine the string of lights, like, what kind of lights they are, how long the string is, what their condition is, etc.]

It's just a head, heads are normal, this one is just...off...

[ Look he's literally examining a gross head here, let him have this. ]

[The lights are in fairly decent condition, despite having spent some time in the trash. You may or may not recognize them as having belonged to Henry.]

[Huh. Max will daintily unfurl them as best she can, gross head bits be damned. Is there any blood or other matter on the lights?]

[There is not! But there appears to be one missing.]

[Are there any signs that it was broken off or is the missing light cleanly removed as if done purposefully?]

[It appears to have been broken off. It certainly wasn't clean or carefully done.]
