Second Study Session

After last week, you'd all hope that this wouldn't come to pass again. Yet, after the third week you've all had maybe some of you may have begun to feel a creeping dread. There are a few different reactions to have when you wake up on Friday morning and look around. The hallucinations and the voices are all gone. Get up and walk around, but they're nowhere to be found now; just a memory now.

What's left is the why. Maybe you've all passed.

Or just maybe... you should hurry and check the main building.

even if the hallucinations are gone, it doesn't mean they didn't leave a long lasting effect on waver. a.k.a. he's been awake for maybe the past 36 hours or so. nbd ]

You think so? I mean... it was pretty bad yesterday and it's not like I'm entirely happy myself with someone being dead again, but. The hallucinations are gone. I can't look terrible after each person dies. For everyone else's sake.

[ waver’s expression turns quizzical, almost troubled. ]

That’s why others do, probably. It wouldn’t be fair for you to become unhappy because you’re trying to make everyone happy.

I'm... not going to be unhappy helping everyone. That's not something that would actually happen. Maybe I'd be upset because of outside things, but that isn't something I'd ever be unhappy about.

[Alexander noticed. Honestly though it wasn’t hard to tell.]

You won’t be able to make it through tomorrow like this. What you need right now is sleep and real food.

[ waver looks at alex, trying to find some good excuse to push alexander’s advice away. however, he can’t come up with anything besides a stifled yawn. ]

Yeah, guess you’re right. I just... couldn’t bring myself to sleep, perhaps.

[That’s understandable to say the least. But there has to be a solution... ah. There is. It’s very simple really.]

Hmm...If it still bothers you, I can stay with you.

[ well, that immediately wakes waver up a little. he knows that he shouldn’t react like this— there’s nothing strange with this after all. he and iskandar slept in the same room all the time... and it doesn’t seem like alex can’t dematerialize, anyways. ]

[ and that’s the closest to a thanks that alexander will get in public. but the relieved expression on waver’s face is an obvious sign of how glad he is to have company. ]

[Alexander pops a piece of tamagoyaki in Waver's mouth before picking him up with astounding ease.]

[ well, any complaint or sound of surprise that waver has is quickly muffled by the tamagoyaki. his hands, however, wrap behind alexander’s neck to hook himself to the heroic spirit. but the way he turns red in the face is indication enough of how embarrassed he is right now.
