[Entrance Exam] Week One

It would seem that it will be... some time before you're released. Two weeks. That may sound like forever, in this situation. But you aren't left with nothing to do. The Administrator has been kind enough to update the Tasks application on your tablet. There are also now several different tasks that you can accept. Who knows... you might get something good out of it. It's worth checking out at least. There are also several other new applications you can toy with, too.

And you won't go hungry. The staff is here to prepare meals three times a day. Breakfast is served from 6AM-8AM, lunch from 11PM-1PM, and dinner from 5PM-7PM. You'd best make sure you're in the cafeteria in time for those meals, because they won't be waiting around all day for you. They have lives, too. Unfortunately, you won't really be able to ask them about any of that. The serving area is separated by a glass wall, through which they serve you. Even if you try asking-- it would seem they have been told not to answer.

The rest... well. You may just have to see for yourself. At least you're not alone.

[It's been a bit of a rough night for him, but eventually Natsume wanders down to the cafeteria. After a long yawn, he blearily scans the cafeteria and--

Ah. Damn. Their eyes met.

Although he tries to avert his eyes, Natsume sighs as he hears Pikachu call out and he walks over warily. He stops close enough for them to have a normal conversation, but he's standing further away than what most people would probably consider polite.]

...Not really. It doesn't seem that much different from a regular school, to be honest.

[Twelve immediately hops in the room, most definitely far too animate for how many people are in here and looking around. He'll take enough care not to bump people, even if he gets worryingly close at points. He's all smiles with slightly too many teeth if anyone looks his way in greeting.]

Do we get extra points if we organize this mess better while we search?

[This evening at 7pm, you can find the Faculty Office door open. Vivienne is pacing inside anxiously. She appears to be... on the phone.]

[She stops, a slightly worried expression on her face as she bites at her lower lip.]

[Even if you don't see her in person, you'll hear what it's all about a moment later as she hastily broadcasts an important message onto every tablet.]

Prospects, I... am sorry to inform you that Kasumi Toyama has fallen ill, and will no longer be able to participate in the exam with the rest of you. She has been... escorted from the premises until her condition improves. We... apologize for the sudden announcement. Please... proceed as normal.

it's difficult to eavesdrop without his magecraft, but he's in front of the door as she broadcasts the message to the rest of the prospects. ]
