Week 4
[ It's now Week 4 at Fayflower University. With the new week comes another memory, and a new floor to explore. That's nice, after everything, right? Right, of course it is.
However, other things have changed besides the floor access. The wall has always been a point of contention after the fiasco in week one. And then the frog, and now the investigation. However, going within three feet of the wall is oppressive now, in feeling. It feels as though you're being watched-- and targeted for something.
Be careful~]

[How to get vengeance on the Clown... What would be embarrassing....]
Um.... Profess your undying love to a random person here.
[That's most embarrassing thing he can think of doing. Nothing is more embarrassing than that. Nothing.]

That’s a good one! Do I get to choose?

He's going to regret asking Gogol for this.]

Edgar, since the very first moment I laid eyes on you-
[From his tone, Gogol shows how he excels as a performer, being just that right amount of soft and vulnerable, yet bold at the same time.]
How can I put it? Behind that mass of hair lay a pair of eyes I've longed to gaze into, a dark soul I want to bring light to.
[He squeezes his palm.]
Your tortured artist soul speaks to me like nothing else, every word you speak and write a glorious requiem. Detective, can't we solve the mystery of love together?

How was that? Convincing enough for you?

[He doesn't squeak when he speaks. That's just Gogol's imagination.]

[He lets go of Poe's hand, finally, falling over backwards to the floor.]
Did I win?

[He's stumbling badly over his words and has no idea what to do with all these emotions right now. He is not going to analyze his reaction to that whole confession, because good god he knows he is not going to like what he finds. Just... how did his life get to this point? What did he do to deserve this?]

[Please let that be good enough for him...]

[At least this situation can't possibly get more embarrassing.]

[He already is kept up at night wondering what he'll be asked to do. He doesn't need to worry twice as much.]

[Well...]
Never mind. I'l... I'll just owe you another favor.
[Nope. Not going there.]

[You should know better than to pique the clown's curiosity.]

[Listen. He remembers their spin the bottle truth conversation earlier and that combined with this is leaving him very confused emotionally and having to evaluate things he'd never thought he'd have to evaluate. Also he is aware of what spin the bottle usually entails. But he is not poking that idea anytime soon because it is a bad idea and terrifying.]
