Week 4
[ It's now Week 4 at Fayflower University. With the new week comes another memory, and a new floor to explore. That's nice, after everything, right? Right, of course it is.
However, other things have changed besides the floor access. The wall has always been a point of contention after the fiasco in week one. And then the frog, and now the investigation. However, going within three feet of the wall is oppressive now, in feeling. It feels as though you're being watched-- and targeted for something.
Be careful~]

[ Even like this, he can understand, he thinks.
It doesn't take much for Terra to decide to place the book he was looking through on the table for the moment. ]
Anything's fine, right? I could read something to you, if you want.

[ Terra figures it's what he would've normally done, anyway, and now he just points towards the book she set on the table. At least he can't really get bored doing this. ]
You were trying to read that one, right? We can start with that.

Thank you, Terra. Really, you're a good friend.

He can't even feel upset that he can't. But maybe the fact that he doesn't even react to that much is an indicator if anything that something's wrong. ]
...You think so? Well, it's no problem. I'm only doing what anyone else would do.
[ He'll be opening the book now. ]

Are you...feeling okay? Did-- I mean, besides the usual, did something happen? You sound...different, from usual.

[ He doesn't actually sound apologetic, but that's not his fault, honestly. Terra does look up from the currently open book, though. ]
...Remember the motive? It looks like they decided it'd be great if I couldn't feel anything, and it's kind of hard for me to sound like I usually am.
So, that's why I'm like this at the moment.
[ 'Like this' as in a state of lacking emotions, but since he just explained it he figures it doesn't need further clarification. ]

They...could do that? Just- nothing at all? Terra... That's- that's awful.

[ Terra's figures it makes sense they're capable of such a thing, but...all the same, there's nothing he can do about it now except deal with it. ]
I don't think it's as bad as it could've been. They probably could've come up with something worse if they put their minds to it.
[ Or maybe that's what he's concluded right now since he can't really feel otherwise. ]
no subject
[ But...she deflates, realizing: ]
But...it doesn't faze you much...does it?
no subject
No it doesn't, not with the way I am now.
[ ... ]
I don't even know if I can be relieved if it did come back. Or if I did, it'd be not by much.
[ Because he knows what it'd mean. ]

Yeah, you're right. I wasn't thinking clearly for a moment.

It's...fine, I imagine...I imagine it's hard to determine just how clearly you're thinking, when you're...like this.
