[ After everything's said and done, Shirou's going to go ahead and set things up for today. It's the same as always; nothing has changed-- but he still wants to believe that there's something worth in doing this, so he'll at least go ahead and do that once he's given out notes (or told a person verbally, one on one) under their door, a small neat note stating: ]

I know it's been a hard month. And I know it's probably going to get even more difficult from here. But I don't want anyone to give up just yet. If you'd like, there'll be food and drinks in the simulation room.

[ And for those who decide to make the trip to the simulation room, they'll find themselves walking into what seems to be a karaoke bar! Shirou's made it pretty spacious and there is, in fact, a table set up with some food for everyone to take - primarily burgers and ramen (hell, there's a bit of ramen burgers, too, the Biggest Cancer) - that he's made the decision to make, so feel free to take it, and he's willing to even get drinks for everyone, too.

This includes virtual drinks, as he actually has some experience working at a bar, even if it was more menial tasks and less bartending. But hey, there's a first time for everything, yeah?

And there's also the option to sing your heart out-- although that might not be the most appropriate, given the last execution, but he's. He's trying, anyway. ]

I have no idea. Personally, I just grin and bear it, but everyone has their coping mechanisms.

[As he's writing, he glances up and notices something is... Off...]

[Huh. Maybe it's worth a try. The hatless guy starts grinning. It's not a pleasant thing to see, and he talks through his teeth, keeping that grin as much as possible]

I dunno! She sneaked out somewhere a week ago and I haven't seen her since then! I'm worried about her.

[By now he has given up in keeping Doris a secret -- mostly because she's not on his head reminding him to not mention she's a machine]

[... Rantaro's holding his arms up in an x shape while frowning in horror. That arm gesture is the japanese symbol for wrong. Take a hint, for goodness sake.

After a beat, he puts his arms down and starts writing something... And pausing. And writing some more.]

Your hat snuck off? Is she another robot?

[Oh, fine. No grinning. He rubs his cheeks, glad he won't have to keep doing that]

Yeah, another robot. More like an assistant hat. Very advanced assistant hat!

In...my room? After the trial last week? We had talked about what happened and then I turned my back on her for a second and then she was gone. It was so fast I dunno why it even happened!

[Poor Bowler Hat Guy still hasn't realized he's worth nothing in Doris' opinion]

[Unfortunately, Rantaro has no idea what the hat's relationship with the former bowler hat guy was like. All he gets from this confession is that the hat is a robot that somehow ran away from him? How did the hat even open the door?

He taps the pencil he was writing with to his chin before settling on writing this:]

Gotcha. I'll keep an eye out for her.

[And make sure the hat doesn't go and cause more trouble. He's kind of figured out what happened to Connor and Megumi by now, so if that happened to the hat...]

[He's so worried partly because he really has a high opinion of her, and because shes his accomplice in REVENGE!!! He's glad other people here are willing to tell him if they see her]

Maybe you could also ask around to see if anyone else has seen her. Covers more ground. Plus most of these people aren't so bad.
