[ You're doing well! In fact, there's a nice message in your inboxes on Sunday reminding you about your midterm evaluations, and how those will be coming very soon. Make sure you're studying! And, of course, there will be support services on campus to help you cope with the stress. The message almost looks like it should go on and list what those services are, but it cuts off abruptly, and that's that.

Meanwhile, the wall is more ominous than it has been in the past. What felt oppressive last week feels oddly eerie, and if you let yourself stay near too long, it feels oddly comforting and calling. Your freedom is just on the other side of the wall, after all. But that's okay, someone has posted a warning outside all buildings to not go near the wall.

Oh well. At least there are new locations to explore!]

Where has Cecil been, by the way? He's rather eccentric, of course, but it's unlike him to be just gone. Well. If you are on the fourth floor of the main building, near the dance room, you may feel something shake.

And then a loud crash, and a sickening crunch.

Investigating will lead to the fallen ceiling mirror, fallen to the floor and off kilter. Did it have any right being that thick, or heavy? But then you see the hand, and a pooling of blood, rolling towards the center of the floor.

Killed by a mirror, like his mother always said.

ACTIVITIES

Today when you go out to the field, there's a whole host of things! Sleeping bags! Tents! All the essential camping gear! And, indeed, there is wood for building a fire. Maybe even a couple of bags of marshmallows.

Han is sitting next to his tent (remember it), with a sign that says "Build a campsite."

Have fun guys, I look forward to bonfire toplevels before everyone decides camping sucks and goes back home.

[he's locking up the robotics lab, and probably for the first time... looks a little sleepy. Oh well.

[No. No There's no point. He's not even listening. He's frustrated to hell and back but what else can he do?]

[this is a very public place to have an argument, and Han is painfully aware of how sound carries. so, he slips past Oswald, to try and escape]

Look, I'll focus on this, then. I'd rather do anything else than be involved in this program... but fine. You've got it.

[he gives him a serious look, now that he can keep walking-- Hale may wish he hadn't promised that]

[ Goddamn it.

That was not a memory that he expected to actually recall this week and it's because of it that he needs to actually go to the men's showers and take a pretty long one. He needs it, or else he's probably going to lose it.

Later on in the morning, he can be found in the simulation room-- he's turned it into what seems to be a church. Shirou himself is sitting on one of the pews. What people might also notice upon entering is that the 'church' itself isn't silent-- there is loud, encompassing music reverberating throughout the walls, coming from an organ in the front of the room that seems to be played by a rather small girl. And while each note is being played perfectly, there's just no emotion to the music; it's pretty robotic. And yet Shirou is listening to the song all the way through, regardless.

After he's found the time to clear his head for a bit, it's time to check out some of the new locations-- Akira had mentioned a workshop during the last meeting, so he's off to actually eagerly scope out the workshop himself; half because building things is actually his forte as Emiya Shirou and half because he can actually build some things for the memorial now...

Which means he might get distracted in the process trying to build a wooden house. We're sorry. ]

[In the morning, Gogol has another memory return to him, and it sure is an exciting one! How delightful it was to see that look on Mr. Tonan's face, right as he pulls out the gun! All the pieces were falling into place, and it's hard not to feel invigorated for the day!

Restless with energy, he sets out to explore the new floor, hurriedly grabbing something full of cream and sugar from Starbucks in place of breakfast as he goes. He knows there's a workshop waiting for him, and he's excited about that, but when he exits the elevator and spots the exotic performance arts room, he stops.

There's a change of plan.

There are no plans anymore.

There is only clowning.

Like a beast let loose into the wild, Gogol sprints in there, and plays around with just about everything. Anyone coming through to check out the room might find a knife being thrown, or be treated to a show of juggling, or see Gogol launching himself off a trapeze and landing triumphantly - albeit with a brief look of pain.

If it seems abnormally calm and quiet today, it's because Gogol does not leave this room.]

[ Hank has an announcement this morning! Yes, he's hanging out in the dorm common area with a nice big sign fashioned from notebook pages, markers and crayons. This isn't exactly a meeting, but he's bright and early and making sure to get everyone and anyone's attention if they walk by. What does the sign say? ]

Your booze privileges are officially OVER! Turn in all alcohol to Hank Anderson or face the law.

[ (He may have also slid some notes under people's doors for good measure, up to you if you want to be a lucky recipient.) ]

Hand over your booze or I'm gonna hit everybody's rooms and take it. [ He is very Dad Mode right now. ] And before you ask, no -- this ain't for me. It's for your own damn sake. You kids can't be fucking trusted with this shit, so I'm taking things into my own hands.

[ He holds out a hand. Give it here, unruly child! The police are cracking down. ]

[ MmmmmMMmm yes, Connor.... The last person he wanted to see after remembering. What almost happened. ]

I'm fucking tired of this shit, Connor. Yesterday, I had to carry Osomatsu to the damn nurse's office after he fucked up his hand and started slamming his head on shit. I told that kid to stop drinking, and what does he do? He fucking drinks more.

[ Hank grumbles. There's clearly more bothering him, but he's getting the easy stuff out of the way. Well, and the next part is said a bit more softly. ]

I'm fucking tired of... of these kids thinking I'm some fucking role model, then doing all the bad shit I fucking do.

[ oh. it's a good thing connor doesn't have the russian roulette memory -- but he remembers hank's description of it. it's ironic, then, that hank is the one telling him about it. he imagines if he had all his memories, he'd remember a similar kind of frustration.

it's good that hank is taking initiative. hopefully that means he would have taken it back home, too. ]

I'm sure that part isn't trying to emulate your behavior.
