WEEK 5
[ You're doing well! In fact, there's a nice message in your inboxes on Sunday reminding you about your midterm evaluations, and how those will be coming very soon. Make sure you're studying! And, of course, there will be support services on campus to help you cope with the stress. The message almost looks like it should go on and list what those services are, but it cuts off abruptly, and that's that.
Meanwhile, the wall is more ominous than it has been in the past. What felt oppressive last week feels oddly eerie, and if you let yourself stay near too long, it feels oddly comforting and calling. Your freedom is just on the other side of the wall, after all. But that's okay, someone has posted a warning outside all buildings to not go near the wall.
Oh well. At least there are new locations to explore!]

[ he's so lucky to not like alcohol!!! ]
But what caused this sudden change? Did your liver start begging for mercy?
no subject
Real cute, kid. Kick a man while he's down, why don'tcha?
[ Hank crosses his arms, steadily glaring. ]
One of you fucking children keeps binge drinking and hurting himself every goddamn time, no matter how much I tell him to fucking stop. So I decided it's about time I cut the risk out entirely and just take that shit off everyone's hands.

[ he shrugs. he doesn't lose anything in this argument and we get less drunk people ]
Although it's not like any of us are really kids here. The youngest one is 17. You really think people are just gonna hand it over so easily?
no subject
Kids are kids, no matter the age. If somebody's getting wasted after seeing the shit I went through, then they're as fucking dumb as I say they are.

[ he huffs, crossing his arms. very mature. ]
But well, if that's the case, then knock yourself out.

[ Hank smiles, very fake. ]
Oh, I plan to. Next back of boxes I see, I'm making sure the booze gets flushed, same as the poison.
no subject
[ will they? god waver hopes not. he's barely even imagined himself living past the holy grail war, much less till hank's age. ]
You act all angry and gruff, but you're more like some sort of really big dog, aren't you?
no subject
The hell's that supposed to mean?
no subject
[ he turns away, defensive. although if hank manages to hear what waver mumbles out, then he'll know that what he said isn't...mean ]
Geez and here I tried to be nice... So figure it out yourself, detective.

[ Hank shakes his head. Children. ]
'Cause I mean, I like big dogs, but they're also pretty stupid.
no subject
[ waver can feel his face growing hot with embarrassment. how dare he-- that old man!! how dare that old man look down on him like that! ]
W-why would I be complimenting you!? It's just as you said! T-that's exactly why I called you that, you stupid old man! Stupid!!
no subject
Mmm-hmm. Sure, kid. I see how it is now.
no subject
[ oh, look at him hank, you stepped on his pride ]
no subject
Alright, I'll go ahead and do that. You have a nice day, kid.
