Midterm Exam.

[ Once again, the exam begins with the desks arranged in a perfect circle; one desk for each person that's participating in the program. There are nameplates for everyone, and they have been bolted to each of the desks, facing the inside of the circle...

...including the deceased. Their chairs have been placed on top of their desks, signifying that they will not be needed. Above of their desks are holograms of their portraits from their profiles, grayed out and bloodstained.

Today Han and Vivienne both are at the front of the classroom, but it's Vivienne that finally speaks up. ]


Today is your Midterm exam. Having successfully passed the halfway mark for the semester, today's proceedings will be a little bit different.

You are responsible for finding the culprits responsible for the deaths of Doris and Hank Anderson. You will have several hours to discuss the evidence and your decision. Know that there are two people among these here that bear the responsibility for these events. You will be asked to vote for each. The two with the highest number of votes will receive their punishment.

[ And here's some photos of the tire tracks - they appear to have come from the main building and lead to the storage shed, but apparently stop at the edge of the pool and seems to indicate that the cart jumped over the pool before the tracks continue to the other side of the pool before leading to the storage shed in the end. ]

[Monika turns in a kitchen knife, a switchblade, & a used taser. She also has some notes on a broken window, scuff marks near the window, and stab marks on the ground with no blood. All of these were found in the AV room.]

[ Fine, here's evidence- from the courtyard. Rebecca submits pictures of broken glass, a lot of it. It's bloodstained, and another photo shows the building's facade, with a broken window.

[Rantaro brought one of the victims to the trial. Specifically, the hat. She's in one piece, but clearly crushed and unusable. There are tire tracks in the direction of her... Eye... Thing. Somehow, it seems she tried to run away before getting run over.]

If they considered them separately, there should have been separate profiles, this is ridiculous. And it's still only an object. We can't put a human to death for that.
