Midterm Exam
[ Once again, the exam begins with the desks arranged in a perfect circle; one desk for each person that's participating in the program. There are nameplates for everyone, and they have been bolted to each of the desks, facing the inside of the circle...
...including the deceased. Their chairs have been placed on top of their desks, signifying that they will not be needed. Above of their desks are holograms of their portraits from their profiles, grayed out and bloodstained.
Today Han and Vivienne both are at the front of the classroom, but it's Vivienne that finally speaks up. ]
Today is your Midterm exam. Having successfully passed the halfway mark for the semester, today's proceedings will be a little bit different.
You are responsible for finding the culprits responsible for the deaths of Doris and Hank Anderson. You will have several hours to discuss the evidence and your decision. Know that there are two people among these here that bear the responsibility for these events. You will be asked to vote for each. The two with the highest number of votes will receive their punishment.
...Your midterm exam begins now.
[ The physical evidence tray sits in the middle of the circle of desks; you all have the Evidence app on your tablets to access photo evidence. ]
Examination START.

"Okay everyone!"
We're getting too far off topic. At this point, we won't get anything done. Personal feelings or not, I think we should set those aside and get to it. It's the only way to get justice for Hank.

[SIGH. This started off badly.]

[ he stands up, arms crossed ]
The old man-- I mean, Hank...he fell from the AV room, but he didn't have any other injuries on him besides those related to the fall. That said, Monika said that she found weapons in the room, but no blood-- so clearly there was some sort of fight there before he was pushed off. Hank was a damn giant, and it takes force to push someone so hard against a window that it breaks. They had to know how to fight, and they had to be strong.
[ he nods at rebecca ]
That should rule her out immediately.

T-T-T-Timeline
...
[ So, he just puts his fingers in his mouth and lets out a loud whistle. ]
Hey. It might be helpful to establish a timeline and order of events, so we know what we're working with. It might be easier to try and figure out where the second culprit comes into play as well, if we have some kind of idea of how this all went down.

Doris has a note typed up sometime at night, before somehow managing to give Hank a note, likely without him being aware of who did. Then after that, Hank heads over to the AV Room to meet up with her--I'm thinking that it's likely he at least had someone with him at the time too. Because he'd know better than to go by himself at night.
[ Or at least he'd think so. ]
Then, when he heads in, I think he might've been attacked at some point by Doris, but because she's much smaller than he is, she's able to out maneuver him. Since Mike's said she's capable of forcing people out windows...I can only imagine that she eventually was able to grab Hank and throw him right out the window.
But, I'm not sure what happened after that.

Hand + clothing check
[ There are two murders, so it's not like it's too strange for a suspect to propose something to be for sure. So, he's going for it. ]
I think it might be a good idea to check for injuries or if someone's clothing is out of place. If you have sleeves, roll them up too.
Someone can look over me if they want--or come along to help. Whatever works.
[ For the record, Terra will show his hands to whomever decides to do as described, as well as roll up the sleeves in his school uniform. His arms and hands are clean. If people are looking at his clothing, they'll notice it has no strange rips/tears/coloration in the fabric either. ]

Who else but Mike Yagoobian would Doris bring into such a major mess?
Feeling cornered, he throws his hands in the air. He's really scared, but anger does tend to cover that up]
F-Fine! You know what? I--I surrender! Okay, I...I was there.
[Let him take a deep breath, trying to calm down]
I dunno what Doris did, all I know was that she returned to the room and took me to the AV room. The knife was already there, she told me to pick it up, and to close the door once someone entered. I stayed there until somebody got into the AV room, I slammed the door closed and saw it was Hank and...
[Mike slumps over]
She floated there and told me to kill him. She just...she just was there and said I had to kill him! And I--I just couldn't, I froze because I didn't know what was going on, and then--I dunno what happened! Hank grabbed me, held me and then there was this shock on my back and I fell on the floor! I really, really don't know what happened after that!
[Right]
She made me stand up after a lot of noise happened, and told me to go get the cart and pick up what fell through the window. I just drove the cart straight to the shed like she said! I just wanted things to be over, it's not like--it's all her fault, I had nothing to do with this! I just parked the cart near the shed, and she...she...
...her...she had like this big fan thing like one of those machiney things used to cut the grass and...
[He pauses, trembling. It took a big toll out of him to admit all that, and the closer he got to that point, he just couldn't continue. Especially if it meant...
Suddenly, he grasps the podium, shakes his head, and declares:]
I know nothing else, I saw nothing else and I won't talk about anything else!

Timeline take 2
Somehow, Doris managed to pass a note to Anderson-san to meet in the AV room, then went back to Mike-san and told him to pick up a knife and meet someone in the AV room. Mike-san slams the door, Doris tells him to kill, he hesitates...
I'm guessing there was a fight. Mike-san got tazer'd and knocked out for a bit... And then Mike-san was told to drive the body to the shed?
I'm thinking either Mike-san or the other party ran Doris over. Possibly in self defense. Am I getting that right?

Oh for crying out loud
This is a sad, sad state of affairs, huh?
[He shakes his head sadly, but doesn't break his smile.]
...sorry Waver.
[Many have died for his dreams as a king. But not this time. The one wish he has is not something that he can hold on to by letting others pay the price for him.]
Before you all get any more crazy ideas, I can't let you do that.
Don't mistake the abilities of the Rider class for that of this man here.
[...that's you Connor.]

VOTES
We know that Doris killed Lieutenant Hank Anderson! That's what we said again and again, that we wouldn't forgive the person who killed him, but she's already gone! Mr. Yagoobian hesitated and didn't commit murder when he had the opportunity! Alexander killed Doris, but he'd never seen that she had intelligence to communicate, let alone knew she was the original Apprentice of Revenge! Nobody decided to kill a fellow apprentice! By voting for the unfortunate people involved in Thursday night's events, we're not purging the group of participants prone to the psychosomatic stimulus of MED 656 and D-756! What we have to do... as a group of people who trusts each other... is decide what we believe in!
Besides, if we can trust a person who got wrapped up in this to have our best interests in mind... and if someone else really wants to support them... can't that person go home and call for help?
