Well, you mourn. After...an hour or so, a note goes out, under everyone's doors- everyone's. ]

[ You'll find Rebecca's set up the common area with food, that she seems to keep supplying, every so often. It's kind of strange, though, she seems like the sort of person to harp on eating well? She definitely has, for some of you. Yet, the food seems a strange split. On one side, there's all kinds of fruits and vegetables and breads. Legumes, made maybe not the best, but it's still an effort. Vegetable soups, no meat in sight. Simple seafood. If you're familiar with Greek culture? Yeah. It looks a lot like something they'd describe in...a history book.

On the other side? God, it's all burgers and pizzas and...pineapples? Pineapple juice? What the heck, Rebecca? In any case, there's enough food to keep everyone fed, and it seems...Tess, oddly enough, keeps bringing batches of burgers from the kitchen?! What a team-up.

The Starbucks is open too, where it's a bit...quieter? Some tea and coffee set up, there.

[ Later on! Oh, that's wonderful, because Rebecca's putting some of the leftover meat and veggies into a stew-like thing. Looks ugly, but smells good.

It takes her a moment, but she hears Rantaro enter. She just thinks someone's going to say something, and...well, looks up. ]

Oh! Oh, you're back to your... Ah, yes, of course. This one's just for me, though. Uh... Comfort food.

[There's a shrug. The note he stuck to the door last Sunday did say he'd make an exception for those dumb trials...

Maybe a little... If you could help me get the leftover food, into some tupperware? I was...going to use it, for tomorrow's lunch...and maybe the next day's. There's so much here...

Ah, he's got most of the leftover seafood packed up. He holds it up to her, waiting for her to tell him where to put it.]

Oh, uh... Here, let's get those in the fridge. I'm not going to really use them in my stovies...but it'll be nice to heat some up, for everyone else.

[He looks like hes not sure what the word "stovies" means but he's not in a position to question. Into the fridge they go.]

[ You know, she has gotten a lot of questions about that. ]

...You've never heard of them, have you? Aye, all you folk without a lick of knowledge about Scottish culture.

[ ...It's kind of fond, though? It's the best she's sounded all day. ]

It's a sort of stew. Made with leftovers. It's what I'm making, right now.

You want some? Well, I've made enough for a few days... Let me just finish letting it cook, aye?

[ It's always in times like this when her Scottish accent slips out. ]

Could you get the rest of the burger meat wrapped up, in the meantime?

[He gives a thumbs up and gets to work. That's what he came for!]

[ Well, it won't take that long, for the stovies to finish cooking. Rebecca pulls the stew-like mixture into two bowls, and. Well, it doesn't look that pretty? But it's got the meat from tonight, and a ton of vegetables, all cooked together. ]

Eat up. Just like mum made. ...Well, with more legumes, but it's still...something.

[Yeah, true. Packing up hamburger meat and putting it in the fridge doesn't take forever either.

But this sure reminds him of curry. He smiles and nods graciously, before making a small gesture at the food. It's kind of like saying grace, but in his home country it's a lot less religious and a lot more brief.

Then he digs in. He seems to enjoy the taste!]

[ She tilts her head, just a little. ]

Good?

Mhm!

[Nod! Yes! It tastes good!

Exotic food is nice!]

[ Well, she returns the nod with a little smile. ]

I'm glad. It always makes me feel...good, even just a little.
