But more than that, it feels like something is waiting to snap this week. What could possibly go wrong, after last week?

[Another lecture today-- she tunes in, but she doesn't leave the robotics laboratory. There were several things she had to finish. Yesterday cemented it-- she has to move fast.

When she emerges it's afternoon and-- ah. It would seem that the project she was working on earlier this week has been completed.

Leaving the lab-- it looks like she's testing out to make sure everything's working properly. But now's a good time to ask her your questions too since she's out and about properly.]

[She laughs, but quickly stifles it.]

You don't happen to know anything about any of the systems getting hacked yesterday, do you?

[newhire]

...the Administration's network was hacked yesterday... it's true...

[Her eyes shift, like she's choosing her words carefully.]

Did you... find out who did it yet?

[newhire]

I have been advised who to watch for... but no proof yet. They left no signs... it's... quite frustrating. But we're going to be watching closely.

[swordsinternally]

That's good. I mean... that you know who to watch out for. Although leaving no signs is definitely a problem. Just. Be careful, Vivienne-san. I don't want things to turn from bad to worse because of this person.

[newhire]

I'd have to answer to Oswald if any of their things stopped working so I'll keep things held together.

...I'm glad most of my programs aren't usually connected to their network. Especially now that this has come out. I'll probably avoid that from now on just to be safe.

[swordsinternally]

He'd probably get really angry, huh.

[ And he nods, understanding her words completely. ] By the way... how are you feeling?

[newhire]

If he had to try and fix something computer-related? He'd be absolutely furious.

[She can just see it now.]

I'm... it's been a rough week for all of us. I don't think anyone's really okay. I'm just... trying to keep myself busy, so I don't think about it all too much.

[swordsinternally]

Sounds like he doesn't like dealing with the computer stuff.

[ He laughs, a little jokingly. ] You're right that most of us aren't doing well, but we're trying our best. Although we can have some fun in between to keep ourselves busy.

[newhire]

I think you've all done remarkably well. I just hope... that it doesn't have to be for much longer.

Still... if there's any way I can help... let... me know.

That means a lot, coming from you. And I hope so, too. I'm... kind of scared of what's to come.

And I'll always appreciate your help. Really.

[ Terra's not sure if he has any pertinent questions at the moment, but he does manage to catch her while she's out, and comes to a stop upon seeing her.

It kind of reminded him of when the Entrance Exams had first started. He quickly thinks of something to ask so he's not just standing there, looking stupid. ]

...trying, anyway. Yeah.

I think if I stopped pushing forward right now, I'd-- never get back up.

[ Aka, he's impressed that she's giving it her all, but at the same time, he doesn't want there to be some overexertion. ]

...I am, I promise. It's just... things... didn't go well the other day. I'm still... working it out.

Just... some people have questioned me and I guess... I've spent some time questioning myself.

I'm not going to let it stop me. Even... if I mess up more... I can't just stop here.

You mean what happened with Connor, right?

[ ...As in, his death.

Even right now, Terra still couldn't believe it had happened. It really didn't feel real, and it was another loss of innocent life that could've been avoided. He wonders if she'll be hard on herself because of it. ]

...Of course you can't let it stop you, and I'm glad you're not going to let it either. If we want to put an end to all of this, we can't give up, no matter what happens.
