I think "darkness" most often refers to so little infrastructure for electricity that there's not light pollution at night anymore.

H meanwhile... if I recall correctly, an authority figure, giving notes to other members of the administration?

Well, I've found out that apparently this guy apparently knows a lot about what Han's been doing here, and that he has his eye on him. So, that's something to keep in mind.

In military lingo, going dark usually means that they cut off communication with the rest of the world. Probably due to the epidemic spread.

Also, since I did say I was gonna teachー a poly relationship is basically one where you're dating or having sex with two other people or more.
