[ Once again, the exam begins with the desks arranged in a perfect circle; one desk for each person that's participating in the program. There are nameplates for everyone, and they have been bolted to each of the desks, facing the inside of the circle...

...including the deceased. Their chairs have been placed on top of their desks, signifying that they will not be needed. Above of their desks are holograms of their portraits from their profiles, grayed out and bloodstained.

Han is no longer here to watch over you. And yet at the desk, a beautiful vase of flowers sits by his name plate. It is Oswald who stands at that desk, though Vivienne watches him intently from the side of the room with a sharp gaze. But his eyes are frozen on those delicate flowers. With his knuckles white, he grips the desk as one, and then several more tears fall.

Vivienne waits, but he doesn't speak. So ultimately she's forced to do it herself. ]

...Professor Han was... a good man. It's truly unfortunate that he won't be able to finish the semester with you all I know... he would have wanted to. In... his absence, I will... do my best to support you in his place, the way he would have wanted to.

.... If Terra brought the textbooks... and the bottles had labels on them... I.. um... I wouldn't mind looking through them to try and match the mix if I don't recognize it right away.

Knowing the mix might help us know what happened to Waver, and why the gloves were needed so... I think it's worth doing.

It looks like there was a lot of poisonous stuff included in there. I don't really know some of the names, either, but it looks like whoever did it went overboard.

Looks like it, since you don't need a lot of cyanide to kill a person. You could have just used that and been done with it.

There's so much in that that just sounds terrible... this was a complete overkill.

Maybe they just didn't know? So they tried everything at once to be sure it would kill him?

You wouldn't have to guess and put that many chemicals in just to be sure W... the victim died.

I've made things before? Like, I have and idea of how to balance things and how much to mix them. I haven't used dangerous chemicals though... but...

There's cyanide in there. You don't need all of that when you have cyanide in the mixture. There's a novel about it, isn't there? The English one?

That was the only chemical the killer should have needed... the rest... it was just ignorance.

[Akira is aware of what cyanide is... so Poe doesn't think he'd try and add all the other things in too. He's not cruel.]

I can't honestly say I know everything it does to a person. But I do know it's really dangerous, and really lethal.

But if they didn't know what type of poison was what, or how much poison you need to kill someone, they'd really be in trouble when they didn't finish the job, right?

I'm just saying that maybe the killer is someone that didn't have an understanding of poisons.
