[Entrance Exam] Week Two

A new week dawns. Not much seems to have changed, huh? Despite the excitement, your 'exam' continues. However, that doesn't mean that everything is the same. waking up on Sunday morning, it would seem that your tasks application has been updated. The old ones are gone and there are several new jobs for you to take on should you so wish.

It would be nice if this week ended even more uneventful than the last but...

Well even if it isn't, at least you shouldn't be bored.

As you did before, you still have the opportunity to speak with Vivienne during her office hours as well. Make the most of your last week with your fellow Prospects. Or don't. It's all up to you.

Chicken it is, then! [ Hang on let him just... twist and hook... and.... there we go. He holds out a pack of the chicken noodles to Kaoru. ] Grab that a second while I just--

[ Yeah. Yup. He's just gonna drop the rest of them on a nearby surface, and snatch up a spicy ramen pack for himself. ]

I'll go find a bowl and some water, and then you should be only four minutes from boiled noodle bliss.

[ she holds onto the noodles while he does his thing. in the meanwhile, she's going to look at the rest of the flavors.

[ He goeth and he cometh back. It's true, Kaoru. There are SO MANY NOODLES. They will never go midnight-snackless as long as the noodles are here.

Hold up, he's just going to set the bowl down and -- ]

Here. Pop the noodles in there and I'll get them cooking.

You... weren't hurt while you were away, were you?

[ she pops the noodles inside and hands him the little sauce packet that comes with it. at his question, though, kaoru goes...a little more solemn. her voice is hushed. ]

I don't believe I was. I don't feel any pain anywhere, so I assume that they hadn't done anything to me. However, I...don't remember very much of what happened.

[ It's time to get saucy. Or at least, once the noodles are cooked through and ready for their dowsing of sauce. Delicious. Gourmet. ]

That's concerning. That they can toy with our memories like that... that's far too much power for someone to have.

It's quite concerning... But I do have some recollection of what happened. They hadn't erased everything.

They erased something though - I wonder if there's a way to get you to remember?

[ ... ding. It's probably been enough time now. So, he'll just add the sauce to the noodles and... voila! Delicious snackoos for the recently-returned. ]

A good question indeed. But as I told our good dog earlier...memories are fleeting. And therefore...it is so.
