[Entrance Exam] Week Two

A new week dawns. Not much seems to have changed, huh? Despite the excitement, your 'exam' continues. However, that doesn't mean that everything is the same. waking up on Sunday morning, it would seem that your tasks application has been updated. The old ones are gone and there are several new jobs for you to take on should you so wish.

It would be nice if this week ended even more uneventful than the last but...

Well even if it isn't, at least you shouldn't be bored.

As you did before, you still have the opportunity to speak with Vivienne during her office hours as well. Make the most of your last week with your fellow Prospects. Or don't. It's all up to you.

"Spirit Channeling"? How does that work?

Well, I learn the name and face of a person, and then I'm able to channel them using a special technique that my family's used for generations! It's really complicated.

[Except that's basically everything he'd have to know about it.]

I've spent a lot of my life training to do it.

Does it work if you've only got part of a name?

That's ...unfortunate. [Disappointing, more like. Maybe even a bit more than that, if he let himself dwell on it.]

So you can talk to them if you have a name and face. Do you just talk to grieving widows, or...?

[It can be pretty frustrating, that's for sure. But Maya doesn't let herself dwell on it, because there's more to explain.]

Oh, I do way more than just talk to them. I channel them through my body! That way, they can speak directly to you.

Hooooh~ that's interesting--are you still there when they speak? Which one of you controls the body? [are you conscious while your body moves in someone else's mannerism, trapped? Spoooky]

My spirit is somewhere else, while the new spirit takes control. My body even changes to look like that person. It's actually really cool from what I've heard.

...Okay, that's not what I was expecting, at all. I'm not sure if that's better or worse.
