[When you wake up, there's a text message in all of your inboxes, warning about how stressful exams week can be. The email comes replete with names of study sessions, tutoring hours, and free pizza on other parts of the campus. And it encourages you to check online for the exam schedule based on your class and section number.

There's also a note that there will be weekly stress puppy pop ups to help you relax? So that's nice and thoughtful! But ultimately, at Fayflower, they just want to make sure everyone has what they need to do well on their exams.

What a nice email.

But things have obviously deteriorated around you, with the wall looking visibly... damaged? If you get close, it's extremely easy to lose track of yourself... and you might come away with a few bruises you didn't know you got. Who knows. Maybe Terra?

[Finding your friend yelling at your dead maybe-boyfriend will never not be awkward. It takes Poe a few long uncomfortable moments to force out an answer.]

I'm.... doing far better than I was after the trial.

[It was probably his lowest point here... which he should probably apologize for now that he thinks of it.]

Speaking of which... I'm sorry for not going to your gathering and tearing up the invitation to it. I wasn't... coping very well at the time.

[ Oso feels like he should be more pissed off about that. That Poe tore up the invitation, considering how much effort Oso did his best to put into that party. But... ]

[ He can't really bring himself to be angry. Poe's been through a lot as well. If he's had a bad enough breakdown, then this sort of thing isn't surprising. ]

[ Osomatsu himself can't exactly understand why Poe was so close to Gogol. But even as dense as he is, even he notices that Poe probably had some kind of feelings towards the clown, considering how they interacted at the trial. He's not entirely sure that's the case, but maybe. ]

[ He'll... do his best not to judge though. As much as he wants to say "I told ya so"... everything's been bad. And Poe's been through enough already. It'd be just pouring salt all over the wounds. ]

Eh... whatever. Ya've been through a lot, so I can't really say I'm surprised ya needed some time alone.

[ Oso himself doesn't know what happened with Poe after the trial. ]

[Considering how him being alone went though...]

I... think I'm glad Vivi, Tsukasa, and Terra bothered me instead though. Being alone... didn't work out well.

[ Osomatsu lowers his head. ]

Yeah, well, from my experience, being alone after stuff like that just hurts ya even more.

[ As what happened with Oso after the trial with 2-D can attest to. ]

Like several people told me, talking to others helps. [ Usually. ]

[Even if it took a while for him to really talk to any of them.]

[ Oso raises his head again. Time to say to Poe what Oso wished he'd said to him after the trial earlier. ]

...Like I said, you got people that care for you. And... you're important too, ya know?

[That gets a small albeit bitter smile out of Poe.]

Both of those ideas are still rather strange to me... but I think I am starting to get them.

[Or at least the former one.]
