WEEK ONE
[ Well that Orientation... happened. Whether you feel more informed or not, the truth remains. Here you are, within Fayflower University. You have your run of the campus, indoors and out.
There's also your tablets to play with. There are several apps-- and even a game! They didn't leave you without some entertainment. The music is a bit dated though...
And should you wish, there's still time to talk to the "staff" in a more... private setting. The office. They're not hard to find. Well-- your Professor, Han and Megumi aren't. Oswald is a bit more... difficult. ]

[Poe's going to make an vague attempt to not directly piss Oswald/Todd/Toddswald off. Maybe he'll let slip information eventually. Besides. He's sure he can depend on Akira and the others to heckle the man more than enough to make up for his lack of participation.]
Indeed. Though... I wouldn't trust the man near my coffee in the first place.
[ He seems like the type to slip poison into drinks.]

[ Todd needs to take a long walk off a short pier. ]
He'd probably poison it. Or smash you over the head with the mug.
...
Or just pour the whole mug into your lap and waste all that coffee.
[ ALL THREE ARE BAD. ]
no subject
[Poe does not blame him for wanting to avoid Oswald. He seems unpleasant.]
All of those options are just tragic wastes of good coffee.
no subject
[ He is. Good plan. ]
Right? It'd be terrible. No coffee should be wasted.
no subject
[Presuming the profiles are 100% correct.]
Good to hear your opinion is the same on that matter.
[Functioning without coffee... how would anyone meet deadlines like that.]
no subject
Is that still listed on my profile? It's a little creepy how they know so much about all of us. [ How did they even find half of it out. ] But if this place has secrets, I want to find them.
I didn't have a lot of choice but to learn to respect coffee, really. I live above a cafe. The owner is really good at brewing it, and does his own blends and everything.
no subject
[What are his standards for hugely creepy then?????]
We have the same goal then. This mystery is already ridiculously outlandish for how few facts I have. I can only imagine it will get worse once we discover more.
[He still intends to solve it though.]
A cafe.... it's been a while since I've been in one. The less crowded ones were always relaxing to write in.
[The secret to making deadlines is coffee.]
no subject
Yeah, a little. At least we don't have phones to tap, but I bet there's some kind of tracking device in these Fitbit-like things.
Probably. But you can't let that stop you, otherwise you'll be trapped in the worst situation possible.
[ Coffee. The true blessing. ]
The big chain ones are fine sometimes, but... there is a difference to the ones that roast and brew their own coffees from scratch. I didn't realise it before.
no subject
[If anything, he'll never stop trying to solve it out of spite.]
Besides.... I've already had my world view repeatedly shattered yesterday. I.... sincerely doubt I can be surprised anymore.
[Poe's lips twitch up at the last part.]
....I personally believe that coffee from small cafe's are superior to large chain ones... Most people who work at those brew the coffee only for the paycheck. Small cafe's are usually self-managed... so they tend to do it out of a genuine love for the craft rather than a paycheck. You can easily taste the difference between the two.

[ ... ]
Whether we'll find any here, I don't know.
That can depend. I don't think my guardian sincerely loved it to begin with but... I guess you can learn to love something, bit by bit. He was really strict on the process of brewing it though, so he definitely cared.

[It's validating to come out on top of an tricky mystery. ]
Any good creator is strict about their processes. He must be quite skilled.

no subject
[That's interesting.]
Well... if he can maintain a customer base with those items alone, then that's quite impressive.
no subject
He was teaching me how to make it too. The coffee mostly, but the curry too, sometimes.
no subject
[That catches Poe's attention alright.]
How well would you say you have the recipe down?
