Doki Doki After Party Club

[Later into the evening, everyone will find familiar handwritten notes on their doors. It's pretty obvious who it's from:]
---Monika
[Those who decide to come will find nothing has really changed in the cafeteria, but Monika sitting at one of the tables while Shirou cooks in the kitchen. She has a new stack of notebooks and pens with her in case someone needs it. Monika does her best to greet everyone with a smile. The only real comfort though is the smell of good food.]

Oh! H-Hello, I'm glad you came. How...are you doing?

[He's not looking too good...]
As well as I can, I guess... How are you holding up?

Every time something like this happens, I feel like a different person.
[Monika is strong. To do this so soon after...that.]
And...you?

[She lets out a slow sigh.]
I feel...I don't know honestly. I feel like he deserved it, but I don't think it had to be done like that.

[Ugh.]
We knew what was going to happen to the person that got caught, and it's still...
It reminds me how much we're under their thumb. Something terrible like that can happen to any of us, at any time, and––
No, I'm sorry, we're––trying to...get past that, so...

[Mitarai has no idea how Monika feels about him, but it's better to greet the hostess than not, right?]
I wanted to thank you for the notebook. It kind of adds to the team feel when you give all of us the same kind.
no subject
[That might sound like a joke, but she means it!]
Aha, thank you. They're just from the supply closet, though; I don't deserve much credit.
no subject
Oh, no, never mind, I'm so sorry, I don't know what I was thinking!
no subject
...Aha ah um, you mean the murder before this right?

I'm Tess, I guess, since we haven't actually met yet.

[She grabs a blank notebook.]
Here-- maybe this can help.

Notebooks are more Sera's thing, but... desperate times, I guess.

I've got some things to...think about, but I should be- a night's rest will be good. [ A small, forced smile. ] What about you, Monika? It's...so wonderful of you, to put this together.
no subject
I'm... okay. I'm hanging in there. I just want to be sure everyone else is too.

[ He doesn't... like that someone died. Not at all. But someone who had killed so willingly and knowingly, without a care... it leaves him hollowed and confused. Watching Mishima die had been so many other emotions, and this is just on the opposite end of the scale entirely.
And he misses Yoosung a little bit more. ]
It doesn't get any easier to see.

[She sighs quietly.]
Is there anything I can do for you?
no subject
Probably not. Unless we can put our heads together and think of a way to get out of here before we lose anyone else.
But... thanks for asking. I'm an old hand at this now though - I should be asking after you.
