Second Study Session

After last week, you'd all hope that this wouldn't come to pass again. Yet, after the third week you've all had maybe some of you may have begun to feel a creeping dread. There are a few different reactions to have when you wake up on Friday morning and look around. The hallucinations and the voices are all gone. Get up and walk around, but they're nowhere to be found now; just a memory now.

What's left is the why. Maybe you've all passed.

Or just maybe... you should hurry and check the main building.

[ Word travels fast. And so does Akira. I hope the doors are ready for him, because he's almost ripping them off the hinges as he enters the office. Screw this, screw the administration who use this, and more importantly, screw whoever did this to Henry.

Is there anything immediately off in the room? ]

[Inside the office, something is immediately off. A horrible stench coming from the trash can.]

Okay lets just... hook his shirt over his nose here. That's disgusting. But... he should probably check this out. And hope that Todd had to smell this too.

If it's Grantaire's head I'm going to throw it at you. ]

[Whatever it is, it appears to be wrapped up in a portion of shredded cloth.








...it does appear to be remotely head shaped.]

[ This is gross and i hate Rem.

He's going to have to unroll this, isn't he? To look for clues? Why.

Okay. So, if there's a bin bag in there he's going to use that and... lift this gross head out and.... roll it so that the cloth comes loose? Otherwise he's gonna have to just... tentatively grab the edge of the cloth and roll it then. This is? Terrible?? ]

Akira, hey––[yeah, she followed you when you made your angry speedwalk to the faculty office. Gotta make sure you don't do anything completely insane and oh nope this is definitely insane. Max reels back and gags.]

There's.... well, whatever's in here, the sooner we sort it the sooner we can leave. Maybe dump this in formaldehyde or something so we don't have to smell it any more.

[ HENRY THEY HAD BIO LABS WHAT WERE YOU THINKING. ]

[So several things from the top come out. A string of lights, the cloth and Grantaire's head.]

Okay, give him a minute here someone has to have gloves and-- well. Hopefully the gloves he finds are Todd's. Because as soon as he finds some, he's putting them on and coming back to the .... selection of clues. Ick.

So let's get this over with, is there anything he needs to look at regarding the head, other than general decomposition? ]

So, on to the cloth, what are we looking at with this cloth? ]

[You may recognize it if you've seen Henry playing with it before... or from the crime scene. It is a part of the cape Henry made this week out of the school's sheets.]

If he examines it closer will he find anything? Any notable rips or tears or stains...? ]

[While Akira takes care of the head (and takes the only pair of gloves, thanks) Max is going to lean in as best she can and try to examine the string of lights, like, what kind of lights they are, how long the string is, what their condition is, etc.]

It's just a head, heads are normal, this one is just...off...

[ Look he's literally examining a gross head here, let him have this. ]

[The lights are in fairly decent condition, despite having spent some time in the trash. You may or may not recognize them as having belonged to Henry.]

[Huh. Max will daintily unfurl them as best she can, gross head bits be damned. Is there any blood or other matter on the lights?]

[There is not! But there appears to be one missing.]

[Are there any signs that it was broken off or is the missing light cleanly removed as if done purposefully?]
