Maybe it's a little rude of me to cut into someone else's business here, but if you want the answer to the question, a lot of high level spells do require saying them aloud, like the ten count spells, but ones that would be in their Magic Crest would be ones that they wouldn't have to say aloud -- like, for example, a gandr.

He doesn't have a proper Magic Crest because he was adopted into the family and Saber had to rely on using her own mana along with eating sustenance and sleeping to make sure that she didn't use too much of her supply.
