[ Once again, the exam begins with the desks arranged in a perfect circle; one desk for each person that's participating in the program. There are nameplates for everyone, and they have been bolted to each of the desks, facing the inside of the circle...

...including the deceased. Their chairs have been placed on top of their desks, signifying that they will not be needed. Above of their desks are holograms of their portraits from their profiles, grayed out and bloodstained.

Today Han is absent-- only Megumi is present at the front of the classroom. ]


Today you are responsible for finding the culprit responsible for the death of Maya Fey, the Apprentice Falsely Accused.

Your exam begins now.

Hey, can I see everyone's hands for a moment? Just in case whoever did it might've gotten careless or something.

[ So even though Terra has an inkling that the smudged handprint on the kitchen door could be Maya's, is there any way to discern if it could match up with any of the suspects' hands? And if so, how does that do in comparison to them?

That aside, he's also going to be checking people's hands if there's anything strange going on with them. He's going to be looking intently, so show him ur palms and fingernails. ]

[ Both Osomatsu's hands have bandaged fingers. The right hand itself is much more bandaged up, however. ]

[ That said, his nails are relatively clean. ]

... The handprint looks closer in size to Alex, 2-D, and Connor's.

So we're looking at Alex, the blind kid who's Alexander the Great. Or 2D, the idiot who was the likeliest to be carrying a guitar around.

[ He siiighs. ]

And Connor, sure. But androids don't have fingerprints so it might've been pretty obvious if it was his hand.

They don't? That's good to know.

... If we're going by that, it'd either be Alex or 2D at this point.

Now it's just figuring out who did it -- or something more solid that'd point to one of them.

[ ... Orrr making them crack, he supposes. But he thinks they'll still need that piece for that. ]

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, too.

[ Let's see what it takes for one of them to crack!! Ah, bad cop time. ]

The stuff with the music room, the guitar... it fits him better than it does the kid.

What if we do a handprint check? It won’t be as precise as if it was done with real police equipment, but someone observant enough could probably point out the similarities.

[ shrug...just... throwing that out there.... ]

[It's not terribly clear, so a conclusive match could not be made. But it would seem to match similarly with the people who's feet were close enough to match the footprint.]
