WEEK 6
[Week six comes like an ominous wave. If anything, the wall is more threatening that it's ever been. That sign from last week? Looks aged-- like it's far more than just a week old. But more than that, it feels like something is waiting to snap this week. What could possibly go wrong, after last week?
Said no one ever, at this point.
But still, if you look around this week, you might find out something. It's like someone has started leaving clues in places old and new. Take a look around.]

[This is not the voice of a man who believes a single word you are saying.]
I take it you work for the administration then?
[If the clown is going to play... then he might as well play along and try and trip him up with logic.]
no subject
[He shakes his head.]
For the department of justice, Sir!
no subject
[The clown in the department of justice? That sounds like the beginning to a terrible joke.]
well... if you don't work for the administration... then how exactly did you get here?
no subject
I, well, I just woke up here.
no subject
[He believes none of that.]
Well... I'm afraid that this is a rather poor place to wake up in.
no subject
[He seems a tad more...eager than before, though there's an obvious effort to keep it restrained.]
Now, I really do have some important things to attend to, if- if you'll excuse me...
[The man that is not Gogol looks suspiciously itching for a chance to get away.]
no subject
Well... if you happen to see a clown around... let him know I need to talk to him. I'll be in the library most of the day and my room tonight.
no subject
[The nice glasses man's eyebrows furrow with confusion.]
Whatever could you need to speak to a clown about?
no subject
[Ranpo explained the situation to him... mostly he thinks.... but the thing he's most concerned about...]
.... Also I might have made a powerful enemy in the Port Mafia due to assisting the ADA in trapping him... and that is extremely concerning. I'd... I'd rather not survive this mess only to die to him.
[He's pretty sure he's dead if Nakahara ever finds out who he is. And that would be just his luck.]
no subject
[He innocently pushes his glasses up.]
I don't know if he'd know anything about that, now.
no subject
[It's.... not like he has anything better to do.]
no subject
[He takes out the notebook he’s holding, opens it, and clicks a pen.]
If you want to speak with someone, I could pen you in.
no subject
[He never thought he'd think it, but he actually really would rather have the clown's normal personality back right now.]
no subject
Then I can schedule you for...[He looks over the notebook, as if there's actually anything written there.] Say, 5pm? Would that be good for you, Sir?
no subject
[He'll... likely be finished reading in the library by then.]
no subject
no subject
no subject
[He clicks the pen once more and closes the notebook.]
I’ll, um, send someone in to see you then, Sir! [Another bow] Have a- have a good day!
no subject
[Poe just... sighs in relief at this little charade finally coming to an end.]
....Likewise.
[He'll be off to enjoy the rest of his day then.... before anxiously waiting in his room once the appointed time arrives.]
no subject
no subject
You ready to talk now...?
no subject
no subject
[He steps to the side so Gogol can get in.]
no subject
[Gogol enters, and looks around expectantly.]
Well? Where is it?
no subject
[He pointedly looks to the side in embarrassment as he holds out the flower crown made of daisies.]
I... um.... I... I thought it might make a decent accessory for that viking head if you ever go through with modifying it to look like Grantaire. The meaning of daisies in flower language utterly clashes with Grantaire and... well... putting a flower crown atop what's supposed to represent someone's decapitated head... It seems like something you'd do.
[Also the meaning of daisies in flower language is ironic for Grantaire... and Poe finds that mismatch amusing.]
