[Entrance Exam] Final Exam
[ It's all happened very suddenly, but regardless, you're here now. The evidence has been examined and collected. You've now been ushered into the classroom to discuss the murder of the great detective himself, Sherlock Holmes. The traditional set up has been disturbed-- all the desks are now arranged in a perfect circle; one desk for each person that's participating in the program. There are nameplates for everyone, and they have been bolted to each of the desks, facing the inside of the circle...
...including the names of the ones who are no longer with you, the Prospect of Elucidating and the Prospect of Murder. Their chairs have been placed on top of their desks, signifying that they will not be needed. Above of their desks are holograms of their portraits from their profiles, grayed out and bloodstained.
At the front of the classroom, Vivienne sits anxiously behind the teacher's desk. The projector shows Sherlock's portrait, along with five other portraits that are listed under an auspicious header. ]
[ The physical evidence tray sits in the middle of the circle of desks; you all have the Evidence app on your tablets to access photo evidence. And although she appears reluctant, Vivienne gives some final instructions. ]
Your final test... is to find the culprit. Naturally... the person you find guilty will be... punished... so... make sure you look for an answer you're... confident in. An error in judgment would be... cruelly... fatal...
Examination START.

So if you want me to die... so be it... but... it won't... stop this...

It's time for a motivational speech.

You know it's wrong.
You're also doing exactly what Oswald would in this situation.
How's that much better? I don't want to die, but you and I both know that this is a complicated situation where it doesn't make sense that that kid dies.
Give him my naughty cap, and lock him in jail. But he deserves a real trial, not a death sentence.

[ We're not in a shonen manga, guys. ]

I'd quite rather live through this as smoothly as possible. I've no attachment to humanity, given their history of attempted genocide on birdkind.
[
We don't talk about Hiyoko.]Besides. He still murdered someone. Murder never doesn't have consequences. Unless you're implying Mister Mishima is that lacking in intelligence.

...the risk... is mine to take.
[Fidgeting with her watch, she produces something that looks like a... memory card?]
...that thing in my office... can you take this to it later?

[ flat's expression falls, eyes wide. ]
Wait, Viv. You don't have to do that! You don't need to do it alone!

[ ... ]
Please. Let's hear what Mishima has to say, first. We haven't given him a proper chance to present an alibi.

1/2
[ He bites his lip for a moment before exhaling, and speaks quietly. ]
He's right, I did it.
2/2
Here we go. ]
But I did it for all of us! My memories were bad, but they obviously weren't the worst here. I mean, you--
[ Turning to Nine and Twelve with a desperate look in his eyes-- ]
--I saw you both every night, and I know you must have had it worse than I did! And Aiden, whatever it was that made him do what he did...
[ His hands ball into fists at his sides. ]
It wasn't just a matter of waiting it out! I asked! This was never going to stop until someone did it!
S-so-- You can't vote for me when I was the hero who saved you from all of that, right??
