[ Poe's disappointed to discover that this wasn't just a terrible dream when he wakes up again in his room. Normally he'd just stay inside all day, but this situation isn't normal. So, with great reluctance, he eventually works up the motivation to get out the door at 8:00 am. He has to make an put up the notices he made last night before going to sleep after all.

So by 9:00 AM, there will be one handwritten notice taped up on each cafeteria door. ]

Does anyone else have discrepancies in the information in their profiles? For example, do you not remember saying the quote at the top of yours? Is the age wrong? Is there something strange about what's listed as your likes and dislikes? What about a new weakness? If your profile has any such things, please leave a note with your name and the discrepancies on it. I know this seems trivial, but it's important to my investigation. If you wish to speak to me about this matter personally, then I will be around the campus investigating.

[Once he's out though, you can find Poe investigating everywhere that day. He's turning over items, knocking on walls to check for hollowness, and in general attempting to leave no stone unturned. He'll be at this most of the day and is late to all meals during this time. Someone should maybe make sure he doesn't forget to eat.

however, when he thinks about it...he hasn't met many masters at all. saber's master was einzbern... lancer's was his professor... and he saw the king of heroes in the tohsaka mansion so perhaps he was their servant?

but shirou just made a distinction between himself and the tohsakas, so that can't be it.

I don't really know them by name... your last name's Emiya, right? That's what it said on the profile. If that's the case then I don't know. Which servant did he have?

Is that still listed on my profile? It's a little creepy how they know so much about all of us. [ How did they even find half of it out. ] But if this place has secrets, I want to find them.

I didn't have a lot of choice but to learn to respect coffee, really. I live above a cafe. The owner is really good at brewing it, and does his own blends and everything.

[How to break this theory gently....]

The only other instances of quotation marks around a name was with Tess' nickname. So they use it for things the person goes by that's not their full name.

In a considerable amount of the profiles, you can find links between the person's title and something in their other information. Such as Gogol's like of birds linking to his title as Apprentice Avian or Grantaire's title referring to him being an skeptic.

It lists 'identifying swords and creating fakes' in your skills. So presumably that is where your title is from. Apprentice Faker. But why just put that and not Sword Faker? I.... can only guess that it might have a double meaning of some sort.

I... um... I... I want to first state that this is pure speculation and you should absolutely be skeptical of it. So.... um.... ah.... well...

I... I think that faker could possibly be an... um... referential title like Grantaire's. So your title is saying you are either a fake or otherwise fake a lot. The... the former is supported if you consider that those could be Scare quotes around your name.... I... ah. Can explain those if you... um don't know what they are... but ah... a way to to think of it is as if they put 'So called' in front of your name..... Is.... is that even a good example?

[Poe trails off muttering to himself. He's been growing increasingly uncomfortable explaining his thought process and well.... telling someone they might be a fake is both outlandish and cruel.]

But! I... I could- no- probably am wrong! It's an outlandish idea I never would have entertained before yesterday and um...! Well.... once you've met an alien, an android from the future, and numberous other things that repeatedly shatter your world view in the course of an hour... well... most things seem possible after that. So this theory... its... not something I personally believe. It's... it's just a theory cobbled together from context clues and comparison. In all likelyhood, it's just whoever put these things together being insulting.
