[Later into the evening, everyone will find familiar handwritten notes on their doors. It's pretty obvious who it's from:]

"Please come to the cafeteria if you don't want to be alone or talk some things out. Emiya (Shirou) will be preparing food. You're also welcome to bring your notebooks if you'd rather just write with company."

[Those who decide to come will find nothing has really changed in the cafeteria, but Monika sitting at one of the tables while Shirou cooks in the kitchen. She has a new stack of notebooks and pens with her in case someone needs it. Monika does her best to greet everyone with a smile. The only real comfort though is the smell of good food.]

[ Tess shows up, and just. Pulls together a plate of food, mumbles a "thanks" in Shirou Emiya's general direction, grabs a notebook, and walks over to a table. Come...... say hi......? ]

[yeah. this sucks. Max is gonna sit by tess and just kinda keep her head down in her arms. she'll take your "say hi" and raise you "is she okay"]

[ tess is just kind of. drawing something? her expression is hard to read, but. ]

[ she sighs, relenting in her drawing for a moment ]

And I don't see a bus coming here to get us this time.

[her heart sinks, even though she already knew this.]

Here we are on the world's worst weekly sitcom! [ a frown ] Second worst.

We gotta... fuck, we need a way to stop this shit from happening again.

That's what we're working on, but...a week isn't a lot of time when you're up against impossible odds. I think...it might be a while. Even with Connor and Hank, there's only so much we can do. Looking for patience when we're being picked off one-by-one, that's the real ordeal.

I may seem like...a normal, weak, useless girl, but I'm doing everything I can, Tess. It's just...[not enough. Not yet.]
