EXAM 2
[ Like last time, the exam begins with the desks arranged in a perfect circle; one desk for each person that's participating in the program. There are nameplates for everyone, and they have been bolted to each of the desks, facing the inside of the circle...
...including the deceased. Their chairs have been placed on top of their desks, signifying that they will not be needed. Above of their desks are holograms of their portraits from their profiles, grayed out and bloodstained.
Han is at the front of the classroom again, looking noticeably neutral about the entire setup. His laptop is closed behind him. ]
You know the drill. [his voice sounds soft, tight.]
Be careful with who you pick, as they'll be answering for their crime with their life.
[ The physical evidence tray sits in the middle of the circle of desks; you all have the Evidence app on your tablets to access photo evidence. ]
Examination START.

[But Waver isn’t quite fast enough, and Gogol easily side-steps it, flourishing his cape like a matador.]
And here I thought we were starting to get along!

Rebecca comes at him from behind, shaking with anger. She's not very strong, by any means? But she's got a lot of force behind her, when it counts. ]

Then, he remembers.
That’s his mistake. Rebecca’s punch makes contact, and, for someone who dodges hits rather than taking them, it hurts. With a violent squeak, and he staggers back.]
L-leave your mob justice for the real culprit here!

[ You know who else is gonna join in on team 'attempt to punch the clown'? This guy. He's gonna run all the way to the clown. ]
[ He's aiming right for the balls. ]

[As much as that was satisfying to watch... Gogol isn't the culprit here. So... he's going to try and go check and make sure that hit didn't bruise too badly.]
Have you had your fun?

Fuck off! They should’ve killed you instead! If you want your damn freedom so badly, then go fucking get it!

He looks to waver, and says nothing. No witty remark, no cruel comment, just a smile.
He will remember this.]

[ the anger that overwhelmed waver disappears in a flash, leaving him staring at gogol with wide eyes. he doesn’t understand what this means or why this happened, but—
i’ve messed up.
timidly, waver returns to his desk. ]

You really... shouldn't ever... tell someone to do that... If it means what I think it means... You know?
no subject
[ let him sit down to rest his head on his arms. mitarai’s not nearly as much of a threat as gogol is, so he isn’t afraid of telling him to keep quiet. he already realized it himself immediately after shouting at the clown anyways. ]
no subject
There's a reason Mitarai hasn't directly addressed Viral either.]
