[Entrance Exam] Week One

It would seem that it will be... some time before you're released. Two weeks. That may sound like forever, in this situation. But you aren't left with nothing to do. The Administrator has been kind enough to update the Tasks application on your tablet. There are also now several different tasks that you can accept. Who knows... you might get something good out of it. It's worth checking out at least. There are also several other new applications you can toy with, too.

And you won't go hungry. The staff is here to prepare meals three times a day. Breakfast is served from 6AM-8AM, lunch from 11PM-1PM, and dinner from 5PM-7PM. You'd best make sure you're in the cafeteria in time for those meals, because they won't be waiting around all day for you. They have lives, too. Unfortunately, you won't really be able to ask them about any of that. The serving area is separated by a glass wall, through which they serve you. Even if you try asking-- it would seem they have been told not to answer.

The rest... well. You may just have to see for yourself. At least you're not alone.

Why should I ca— [ How dare??? Here he is being generous and coming all this way and what's Natsume doing? Blocking his way and now he's trying to suffocate him! There's a lot of muffled yelling here, and the clearest words are: ]

Moron! Ingrate! Idiot of a thousand kidnappings!! [ But after a while he gets tired of yelling into Natsume's hand and, honestly, the door is starting to hurt.

So, he stomps his foot down on Natsume's and bites his hand. Hard. ]

[He should've seen this coming. When it came to this stuff, Sensei never listens and Natsume should've known better. So, he takes both the bite and the stomp, with the good news (for Sensei, that is) being that he lets up on the door and Sensei's mouth as he tries to muffle his own shout.

It takes a little bit to recover, but when he's shaken the pain out of his hand, there's going to be a fist coming toward's Sensei's face.]

That hurt, cat!

[AND THEN, Jake sits up]

NO MS. SANTIAGO DOOOOOON'T--

[and he stares at the two of them]

Ouch!! [ a beat. ] Eh? Wait, that didn't hurt. Natsume, your wimpy punches are getting even wimpier!

[ he manages to get that out as he smooshes himself through the new crack in the door with all the strength he can muster. he's in, he's in!! and he does a happy little twirl just before moving to dive into the nearest bed—which thankfully might not have been jake's and even if it was, jake sitting upright stops him anyway. ]

Ah! See that, all your screeching woke him up!! [ for some reason this makes him preen and he points pretty dramatically at jake while giving a look that totally says "this is your fault, not mine, neener neener". ] You did it!

[The impact between his fist and Sensei's face would probably feel a little more satisfying if:

1. Sensei wasn't calling him out on how pathetic his punches were, and
2. If he wasn't punching someone with the same face

So as it is, it was just a tiny bit weird, especially when his roommate sits up. Well damn... Natsume just turns to stare back at Jake, looking like a deer in headlights.]

Um... Sorry for waking you up.

[just... awkwardly lowers his fist.]

... I'll say nothing, if you say nothing.

[ Sure sounds like nonsense to him. Instead of trying to figure it out, he looks over at Natsume and addresses him. ]

This is why you need me here, Natsume! How are you supposed to deal with these weirdos on your own?

And you can shut up. [And there's a glare to go with that before he turns back to Jake with an apologetic look.]

I'm sorry for all of the trouble, I'll get him out of here right away.

[And to follow up with that, Natsume just positions himself behind Sensei so he can push him in the direction of the door.]
